I bought this because I do a little bit of outdoors video for my youtube content. It's very rainy and windy in the Seattle area, so I needed something a little better than the on-board mic on my a6400. For the money, I am super impressed. This mic captures everything and blocks any wind noise from nature or traffic. I'm not some super audio engineer that can toss a bunch of numbers and stats at you, but from a content creator's POV, this thing is gold.My only complaint is the deadcat is a little big, and blocks a bit of the flip-up monitor on my camera, but not enough that I want to remove it. It does the job well enough and I'm very pleased with my purchase.

Beautiful sound. Easy to use. I had to buy a separate cord to plug into my iPhone as the included cord is designed to plug into dslr. Wish I would have known that prior. Now you know

I have several Rode mics and I have not had any problems with them. This is A great product for my newest GoPro7 setup. Would highly recommend this Mic and wind shock Great sound quality.

I just purchased this mic for my Sony a6400 and the sound quality of this little beast is amazing I would highly recommend!!!! Especially for vlogging

Works great and gives me the desired audio I need when capturing video. Close up or several feet away, I still captured nice audio. Worth the purchase for sure!
