I really loved this mic it’s small so I can travel with it and the sound is beautiful against those big winds.

I used genuine Rode cables to connect it to iphone. Occasional pop/click sounds drive me nuts and i have deleted a lot of video because of that. My other cheap lavalier microphone does not sound nearly as good, but does not pop

This is a great devise to make use of old hard drives. I'm not a computer wiz, and this was so easy to do. I know have great extra storage space.

Does not come with an SC7 cable to adapt TRS to TRRS so that it works with an smartphone.

I use this to record all of my ASMR. It can easily pick up on all of my tapping, eating, etc. For example, the other day I recorded an ASMR video of eating pickles and the microphone picked up on every crunch and juice splatter. Thank you Rode for making such a great ASMR microphone :).

I received a fake one. be careful there are lots of fake Chinese knockoffs of these for sale on here and they look almost real.

I bought this and didn’t use it for a year. Opened it and it’s broken. Wires aren’t connected - it’s a mess. No return option.

I've always loved Rode & wanted to own their mics. But with new competion rising, I wanted to be fair across the board on this mic.The quality isn't all the best, but for the money/other options out there, it's def on par with others. I'd personally save up a little more & get a bigger capsule (like the Deity D3 or D3 Pro).The shock mount is pretty flimsy & when paired with the deadcat, it sags a bit. I try to wrap my cable to pull the mic backwards to counter it. Also note, my deadcat's fitting is a little loose, but that could be mine alone.The quality is def better than any in-camera audio, but it's still pretty flat (which can be adjusted in post pretty easily).It's not like I hate the mic, but I don't love it anymore. It's still a great option for entry level & on sale, it's a great deal.
