I am only an amateur photographer; but really appreciate the quality and durability of this tripod system for the price. I had viewed other much more expensive systems on the market just for the swivel ball capability alone. This unit affords great strength without excess weight. It is great with the mechanical means that it not only has legs that detract like other brands; but a manner in which they fold back onto themselves and the main tripod body for space saving. This is a well built tripod.
All the engineering is solid and I've had the tripod in the field several times now with no difficulties at all. It stays locked in the position you place it in. The added bonus is that it has the arm that can hold the camera out over the edge of a deck or dock - which I've already utilized. Highly recommended.

Well impressed with the quality of this for the money , pretty solid and sturdy. Just what I need for when I'm out and about , folds to a small enough size to fit in rucksack . Nice colour too, like a pale bronze matt finish . Top marks
Great quality & value

I will get straight to the point. If you can't afford a Manfrotto tripod but you want something that can do similar things, just buy this Tripod. Seriously. I'll even go one step further and say, even if you can afford a more expensive tripod, you should give this one a shot!

The tripod comes with a carrying case, and while it can extend for over 72" (The specs say 72' but it actually can stand taller depending on the angle of the legs), it can still be relatively compact when folded down. Made out of Aluminum, it's pretty light considering the size and functionality. The legs unfold and lock in position using easy to release clamps that make adjusting the angle pretty quick. The legs are also adjustable for height, of course, and have rubberized pointy ends for a stable set up.

The tripod has a stable ball head that that locks tightly and still, allows you to move the head in 360 degrees for a very smooth movement and is perfect for those smooth pan shots. You are also able to adjust the resistance for faster or slower pans. The tripod is also equipped with a quick release plate and a bubble level to help you get straight shots.

The central column of the tripod can be tilted at a 90 degrees angle and can also be reversed and mounted from the bottom for macro shots or any scenes that you want to capture from below. There is also a little hook at the end of the central column for you to hang sandbags or other weights to help make the tripod more stable.

As all this was not enough, one of the legs of the tripod can be separately detached and converts your rig into a monopod with a rubberized handle.

This is highly recommended and I will be looking at more of this company's products because I am really impressed with the quality. I have already ordered a wireless lav mic from them.

had selected 2 similar models of K&F Concept tripods (carbon fiber tripods and this one) and finally settled on this one and I like it...quite compact when folded, light weight (I don't think CF will be much lighter ) and pretty impressive when extended to the maximum. The preference for this model was given based on the function of the center bar, to lengthen it and turn it into a horizontal one (sometimes a pretty useful function) ... as cons: if you put all the legs (including the last thinnest) in the bottom 2 Fully extend leg lock positions it gets a little wobbly as it doesn't have bottom horizontal support bars (like umbrellas) but in both bottom positions you pull it in. You don't need to extend it unless you're a very tall basketball player because with only 2 larger section legs fully extended and center pole up and fully extended it goes over 6ft tall plus camera on top. Another "con" is that aluminum gets pretty cold quickly, especially in this freezing weather, and never try to lick it off :) As both "cons" apply to all similar tripods, this is not definitely a manufacturer's issue or the product quality, and if you use a tripod camera dolly, the stability problem is solved. As a suggestion, it would be great if it came with a spare camera mount adapter (the part that screws onto the bottom of the camera). So if you're either using 2 cameras, or using a camera with a regular and a long-range lens (in which case the lens is attached to the tripod), you should leave these adapters mounted on your gear and switch easily and quickly... Another design suggestion is , if some tripod manufacturers get a camera mount adapter designed to accept camera quick install screws (like this one https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00BXTTMLU ), so you always need both the adapter and the screw can be attached to the camera. Those plate-like quick installs aren't as convenient as those little screws. All in all I am more than satisfied with this tripod. Value for money is definitely perfect considering similar tripods cost up to $400-900... and I'm waiting for my D850 and slightly warmer weather to go hunting for perfect sights... : ) And one more thing, It came with a carry case which is nice design, made of durable material and has light reflecting strips so you don't lose it at night :) I was thinking of carrying a tripod on my camera backpack but now thinking I am asking how to attach tripod bag to backpack :)

It is not easy to have tripods mount a camera to their base and face downwards and the camera positioning becomes really hard so i got this as an addition to my unboxing and review kit . Its super small when it is in collapsed and easy to move around. Not the heaviest item either but not the lightest one either. The ball head alone is pretty cool and so are the rotating collapsible legs. Really recommend this item for a unboxing setup for youtube. The tripod only works at straight up or perpendicular setting no other diagonal positioning is supported by the joint.

In the past few months, I have purchased several tripods at various different price points and targeted use case to find out the relative benefit to the buyer when going up in price and whether they should go with either budget options or with top of the line prosumer offerings intended for professionals.

i think this Kent Faith Concept tripod is really something, this tripod packs a c*ap ton of features some could either describe as gimmicks or truly groundbreaking. This tripod is mostly made out of magnesium-aluminum alloy, features grippy twist locks for the height adjust as well as metal latches for precise height and stability adjustment, extending and 90 degree bending center column, a superb metal ball head with a quick release plate featuring fluid rotation.

In reality, there are three important features that make this tripod stand out. First off, the head. Instead of the 3-way movement done by the individual knobs found on a typical budget tripod head, this head features a metal ball. This allows for more finer adjustments, which in turn can save you time with setting up your shot. The head also features fluid rotating motion, which make it super easy to take panoramic shots or video. Second, this tripod features the ability to extend the center column of the tripod and convert it into a 90 degree arm. This opens up possibilities to take over the top shots, which is hard to recreate with other tripods out there, let alone with your hands. This also opens the possibility to setup your camera with complete 360 degree freedom. Third and last thing that makes this tripod stand out is the ability to fine adjust the individual legs and the center column. If you want stability, then you can spread out the legs, and if you want to take close up macro shots, you can remove the center column and put it back upside down.

I would say that all of these additional features that the K&F Concept tripod has to offer really are worth that extra cash, as some of these features alone could justify partially if not all of the additional cost when comparing to tripods under $100, but that is because I see myself using these features more than once throughout the lifespan of this tripod, and having these features on hand makes me confident that I am able to use my camera with no compromises. If you are the type of photographer who seeks the absolute best tripod that could achieve or enhance your artistic vision, and you are in need of these bells and whistles, then by all means go ahead and get this. But for the majority of beginners out there, I believe it is a lot more important for them to invest this extra money on a better lens or filters or other accessories, as at the end of the day, those extras alone can make or break a photo.
An excellent choice for freelance photographers

I'm an amateur photographer, but I go hiking most weekends and travel abroad. I've had the tripod for about three months. It has held up well on hikes. And it held up well on the overseas trip where I had to wear it most of the day, hiking and trekking through old buildings. Thanks to the case, it withstood the blows well. The fasteners and clamps have held up well through multiple adjustments. It has some weight, and I noticed that after a few days of carrying it on one side of my camera backpack, my shoulders began to complain. Attaching it to the back or bottom of the backpack solved the problem. Otherwise no complaints, great tripod!

Had to test the tripod in practice first. Super quick to set up! Very stable, firm stand, but there is still a hook on the underside, on which you can hang your backpack, for example. very flexible options, since you can bend a pipe by 90 degrees. This opens up unimagined possibilities. The ball head works great, so you can quickly set the camera straight in the field. For panoramic shots you can loosen the lower ring and rotate the camera on the tripod. You can turn the whole thing around to place the camera close to the ground. You can unscrew one leg, screw the rest back on top and get a "walking stick" to attach the camera to. When folded, you can easily attach it to a photo backpack. Weight 1.9KG. The functions are well thought out! I am very satisfied with the tripod and can recommend it, especially since the price/performance ratio is great.

really like this tripod, will see how durable it is here in Finland in the coming months. The horizontal function is also amazing for the price. Should have included a phone holder to complete the set, I just bought a third party brand and it fits. The duffel bag is fine for travel too, but I want to attach the tripod to my bag so there are fewer bags to carry. Anyway, this is a quality product and I like and recommend it.
