I already own several large continuous LED lighting panels for video and photography lighting. My panels are large 12-15 inch panels that can be powered by large Sony NP- batteries or wall plug. These cost over $200 each.I wanted to setup a small product ( like watches, cookies, jewelry, etc) recording or photography bug out bag with all the equipment but in a smaller and lighter version.This light is one of the components in my ulanzi phone-graphy setup.Here are highlights that I appreciate and some tips or details o learned from using this light that are not mentioned in the product listing.- button is indented and slides on and off. This is important function since it has been designed for intentional powering and avoids accidental powering on and battery drain while in the bag.- plenty of connections to add on more items. With cold shoe mounts on top and the side I can connect other lights or additional mounts or a small mic if these accessories all have cold shoe feet.- can be powered with type c cable. I ran the battery down and thought i was dead in the water but I can use the light while it is charging. That is something you do not take for granted with internal battery powered devices.-easy to read blue lcd display and function arrow buttons placed for intuitive use. Usability and planning forethought went into placing these buttons. I was able to maneuver and change settings without reading manual. I got used to the icons indentations and can adjust quickly without looking at the back of the light and keeping my eyes on the subject matter to determine the correct brightness amd color or white temp.
