Great for looking at coins.
Very good focus for dates on coin, As they aid you will not be able to see the entire coin. Not only can I quickly see the dates but also all the detail on the coin by moving them around. Also great for the tiny markers on jewelry that indicate sterling silver. Without it, I cannot read the coin dates even with my glasses.

This mic is the best USB desktop mic for the price, hands down. It's incredibly powerful in what it picks up, and allows live monitoring via the headphone port on the bottom. This was exactly what I was looking for. If you're thinking about buying something cheaper, wait for a sale - these guys love to put these on sale.
