Cheap but sturdy, I like them
I purchased these for my spouse who is interested in birding. They indicated that it was good for that task, having identified a number of birds that they wouldn't have been able to identify with the naked eye. What more can I say? It works. In contrast to a spotting scope, this offers a somewhat wider field of vision at the expense of less magnification. This might be obvious to people who routinely use these products. However, in case you are not as familiar with birding, like myself, I thought I should mention that this actually compliments a spotting scope, rather than is replaced by one.Additionally, I compared these to my previous binoculars and I cannot see any difference in the quality of the lens, even though it is about a third the price. So that seems like a good deal. The included strap is also nice. A+
