Initial testing indicates this was a good decision
I purchased this cam to accompany me on a scuba trip off the coast. I ran it through its paces on land and in a bucket of water and was quite pleased with all aspects - stabilization, recording and picture quality, and waterproof ability of the case to a decent depth. We were all geared up for the trip and on the boat when they cancelled it due to weather, so sadly I didn't get an opportunity to take it to any great depth.This was my first sport cam purchase and to be honest I did quite a bit of homework on all the different brands and models. I wasn't ready to commit to something super expensive but I certainly wanted a quality image during the dive. The V50X had the features I was looking for with the right price and had reviews to back up the quality of the product. Certainly happy with the purchase and will be more excited when I can actually get into the ocean for a full checkout.

Loud and resounding bass sounds
Needed a portable for our outdoor pool, preferably one that could also project sound across a large area. This was an affordable option that ticked those boxes. Would recommend getting this if you need a speaker -- the battery was also pretty decent and we used it all afternoon before needing a recharge. The speaker could also connect to multiple devices, so would recommend for those using it within a large group too.

Great sound
Sound is amazing. Sounds like a surround sound system. Would highly recommend.
