This was perfect for a "Science Project" for a 4th grade special needs student. My granddaughter was able to paint and assemble this solar system with little help. It is on the small side but cute and reliable. This was a good deal for the price we payed for it.

As a parent of special needs children, I am so glad that I bought these. I have one on the master bedroom, hall closet with house supplies, office, garage, and the basement door going down. It didn't take long to get used to putting in the code and the sense of security is worth the slight inconvenience.Currently, I have one doorknob that is beeping as if the batteries are low. I checked the batteries and they are 7/8 full and after only 5 months I hope this is a fluke with a bad battery. I took the batteries out, checked them, put them back in; but a day later they are beeping again. I plan to replace with all new batteries and hope the next set will last longer. We do use that door often, more than any others. If this knob ends up being bad, I will edit my review.Update: the phone number for the seller does not work. Disappointing- I did contact Amazon about that. I was able to return the one that had a broken yellow wire. I plan to replace it with the same lock. It might have been a bad unit or I could have twisted it too much in installation. I hope the manufacturer will look at improving this item. For now, it works better than any other options I've tried.The other 4 in my home continue to work great.Additional update: The company selling these has still not replied to my email. However, I was impressed with Amazon and am looking forward to installing the replacement item. I hope I don't need any future customer service, though.

I'm currently using this in my special education classroom. I've briefly tried all the sounds but found the ocean sound is the most calming for my all my high-needs students. I will update if anything changes.

It's a nice speaker for a great price. The volume controls work great and the sound quality is good. Nothing special, but good enough for most needs. One problem is that it uses a usb cable but still needs an audio jack plugged in. Also, it has an annoying blue light on the front. Don't they know blue lights are bad for your eyes?

Loveeeee this machine! I leave it on all night for my special needs daughter! It puts her to sleep and keeps her asleep all night! Turns up loud enough to block out any noise that might wake her!

The headphones meet my needs and gives me 12-14 hours of play.

How about this to use in my classroom. I teach special needs children and this product was purchased to use during their calm down time. They loved the different colors in the stars. They also enjoyed listening to the relaxing sounds.
