When I opened the package, I was amazed at how small this mic was and was instantly doubtful. I thought "Aw man, this is going to be a big waste of 50 dollars". Well, I hooked it up and had planned on spending about 2 minutes checking it out before submitting a bad review and going back to using my old mic which was pretty good but wasn't amazing. Well, my plan backfired... I spent HOURS enjoying this microphone!I'm a song-writer and I also produce my own songs and my funds aren't that great but I knew that I needed a better microphone. This mic is PERFECT for me! With my last mic, I pretty much has to scream into it to get a normal-volume sound. But this mic picks up EVERYTHING. During my first recording, I kept hearing an annoying ticking sound in the background and had NO IDEA what it was. I immediately thought "Aw man, something is wrong with the mic. I knew that it was too good to be true"... False... After a while of sitting and thinking, I finally found the problem... The mic was picking up the very soft ticking of a nearby clock. The ticking was so soft that I never really heard it until I started recording.The only problem I have is that the mic stand adapter (or whatever it's called) isn't compatible with the music stand that I have. You'll need to buy a Euro stand adapter screw or whatever if you want to put it on a stand... But... this isn't a big drawback because I already had a universal mic clip that works flawlessly.I really can't find any bad things about this mic... But I do suggest a pop filter if you purchase this mic. I purchased a double pop filter that works amazingly. But obviously with any microphone, you'll need a pop filter so that is definitely something that you should buy if you really want professional results no matter what you're doing.I could go on forever about how awesome this mic is but I'll just get to the point... This mic is amazing. It was only 50 bucks and it produces PROFESSIONAL QUALITY results. You really can't find any better deals. I'm actually kind of nervous though... When they start making even better microphones years from now, I'm not sure if I'll buy a new one because this one is so amazing.

Our small church ordered this item (the Phenyx Pro Wireless Microphone System 4-channel with two handheld and two lapel/headset/bodypack microphones) from Amazon.When we received the system, we had issues with the volume control knobs not working. (In the end, it was one of our own audio cables at fault). I contacted Phenyx Pro’s technical support people, and they were wonderful. Initially, they walked me through some basic checks & tests, and when that didn’t fix the problem, they had me send them pictures and test videos showing the issue and our setup. After a couple more attempts were made to troubleshoot the issue, they shipped me a replacement unit free of charge. When the new unit had the same issue, I got suspicious of our own equipment and offered to send the replacement unit back immediately. They told me to hang onto the replacement until I was able to test my suspicions. (I was finally able to arrange for a friend of a friend who runs sound professionally to help me check our equipment. Sure enough, it was one of our audio cables causing the issue, not the microphone system.)Throughout the entire ordeal, the Phenyx Pro technical support people were wonderful. They always emailed me back quickly, and were apologetic and very helpful in trying to resolve the issues I was having with their product. At the end of this on-going saga, I contacted them one last time to apologize for all the trouble I put them through, and ask where to send back the replacement unit; they were very understanding and gracious about the entire thing.

For me, it's perfectly adequate.Physically, the headphones are higher quality than any other headphones I've used in this price range. They are hard plastic with an inner "skeleton" of metal. The ear cushions are very comfortable.I would buy these again and I have no reservations about recommending them.

This cam works great. I use it on a conference room for meeting of 4 to 10 people and it is a HUGE improvement over the integrated laptop cam/mic/speaker that we were using before. A couple of points to consider:This is not just a camera. It is a camera, microphone and speaker. As a matter of fact, the biggest improvement was with the microphone. No need to raise the voice for the other party to hear you, even when sitting across the room (about 12 feet away from the cam.)The camera was plug and play on Windows 7 with Skype. I got the video, mic, speakers, volume control, pan and tilt and the remote working immediately. However, the answer and hang call buttons didn't work out of the box. I haven't installed the included drivers or apps since I don't really need these functions and I prefer to keep my PC as clean as possible.The little bar that raises the camera is NOT telescopic. You either have the camera plugged directly to the base or you use the extending bar to raise it about 10 inches, but no middle point and the camera will not pop up when you power it up. This is not a problem at all but it is good to know. Look at the product pictures.The speaker is good for conferencing. It is better than my laptop speaker but not nearly as good a stand alone speaker set. I haven't tried it for anything other than voices.In conclusion, if you Skype with more than one person in the room then this camera will make your experience much better and significantly easier. Laptop cams and mics are meant for one person only, so if this is your primarily use then you are probably better off with your integrated cam.

. I purchased the SmallRig clamp to attach a Zoom H5 portable digital recorder to my microphone stand. I attach the clamp end of the SmallRig to my microphone stand, and the ballhead arm has a standard 1/4-20 male screw that screws to the back-side of my Zoom H5. (See photo.)The initial clamp I received from SmallRig had a defective ballhead arm, and no matter how hard I tried tightening the ballhead arm it was unable to hold my Zoom H5 in a horizontal or vertical position. My Zoom H5 weighs only 8.1 ounces with 2 AA batteries installed, so it was a fairly light load. I contacted the SmallRig customer service and they were prompt in their response. SmallRig replaced the defective product, and the new product I receive works great!The new SmallRig clamp I received is able to hold my Zoom H5 in any position (horizontal or vertical without slipping out of position), and the Zoom H5 feels like it is solidly attached to the microphone stand. I can also put some light pressure on the Zoom H5 and it doesn't feel like it would move. I don't know the max weight specifications for the arm, but I would think it could hold up to 2 lbs or so and still have a solid hold.The nice thing about this SmallRig clamp is that you can remove the ballhead arm from the clamp (see pictures), so this product is really two different items: (1) a clamp that has a standard 1/4" female thread and 3/8" female thread on the back-side of clamp (see photo); and (2) a ballhead arm that has a standard 1/4" male screw at both ends (see photo). I really like the flexibility that this product provides, since you can remove the ballhead arm from the clamp and install a different type of arm that has a standard 1/4" male screw to this clamp. You can also independently use the ballhead arm on something else, since the ballhead arm has standard 1/4" male screws at both ends. (Note: To remove the ballhead arm from the clamp, you just tighten the ballhead arm with the knob and rotate the arm counter-clockwise, and it will unscrew from the clamp base.)This is a handy product and it can have a great many uses. SmallRig also has great customer service, so I would buy from them again.

Zuerst fällt beim Auspacken auf, dass das ganze sehr sorgfältig verpackt und gut stoßgeschützt ist. Das ganze besteht aus dem Microphone inkl. dem Pop-Schutz, der Halterung für das Microphone inkl. der Shockhalterung plus dem mit 1,6 Meter schön langen USB-Kabel und natürlich einem kleinen Anleitungsheftchen, u.a. auch in verständlicher deutscher Sprache.Insgesamt ist das gesamte angenehm klein gehalten und somit auch super transportabel. Der Tripod ist sehr stabil und hält das ganze sicher. Lediglich das automatische Einklappen der Füße stört mich ein wenig, aber damit kann ich leben.Bei den ersten Versuchen war alles ohne Probleme schnell eingerichtet. Ich habe es u.a. an einem Laptop mit Windows 11, einem Desktop PC mit Windows 10 und einem etwas älteren Macbook angeschlossen und es wurde überall sofort erkannt und funktionierte einwandfrei.Das Microfon selbst besitzt einen Gain-Regler und einen zusätzlichen Ausgang für einen Kopfhörer, um dIe Aufnahme mitzuhören und somit eine Kontrolle über die Funktion und Qualität zu haben.Alle Testaufnahmen war kristallklar und deutlich. Durch die Nierencharakteristik wurden auch viele Hintergrundgeräusche nicht aufgenommen.Bei uns wird es für unseren neuen Podcast und für youtube videos benutzt werden.Für den Preis eine gute Wahl.

I choose this camera because it was the cheapest one I found with good reviews. The video quality is okay (grainy images) and the wide angle is nice. The privacy cover is a snap on (no adhesive tape needed) that flips down to conceal the lens which is great! There’s an adjustable monitor clip that isn’t meant to secure it tightly, but more of a way to gently hold it in place during use.The downside is that the audio quality is terrible and that’s a big problem. I tested this on 2 different a laptops with an external monitor, and a wired headset with a mic. The mic volume was set to maximum.The results were the same. The webcam mic is the clearest with the webcam less than 1 foot in front of you, but it’s still not very clear and from that distance it isn’t useful for video. If you use it on the monitor, as I assume most of us would, then your voice will be low and muffled. The only way to use the webcam on the monitor is to add an external microphone. The wired headset mic I used sounded as clear as the laptop mics.I plan on keeping the webcam because I didn’t want to have to gamble with finding another affordable webcam or even an expensive one that might end up with the same issue. The video quality is decent enough, so I just ordered an external microphone instead. Let’s see how that turns out.I still gave the product 4 stars because of the great price, decent video quality, neat privacy cover and fast shipping. I would only recommend this webcam to people if they won’t be talking on their meetings or online classes; and if they do have to speak then they don’t mind or prefer using a headset with a mic.

I purchased the Audio-Technica AT2020 to support webinars and voiceovers for short instructional videos I produce for my business. I also use it to support LiveChat sessions for online college courses that I teach. After using the inexpensive Logitech or Microsoft USB headset mics in the past, all I can say is the sound quality of this microphone BLOWS THEM AWAY. The difference was like switching from a 1920's victrola to the latest digitally mastered music. Gone are the drop-outs and tin-can voice sounds with heavy breathing in between. High-end users who regularly do studio work may find fault with some of the details of this microphone, but for novices like me, it's the cat's payamas.My Windows PC recognized it immediately, and after adjusting the input levels within Control Panel, I was quickly sounding like "professional radio guy" in a matter of minutes. Sensitivity seems to be just right. I can sit back comfortably in my chair, and the mic picks up every nuance and golden tone of my voice. I'm also impressed at how little ambient noise it picks up. My desktop box has a noisy fan, and the mic is only two feet away from it. However, I barely noticed the fan hum in the playback, and then only slightly when listening through headphones. Playback on the PC's speakers did not noticeably reflect the background noise.I'm very happy with this purchase, and unless you have extremely high demands for your voice work, this mic is an excellent bargain in my opinion.
