Beware!!
The depth of the cradle is very shallow, so phones with thick covers will not hold securely. The grip is weak and the metallic easy to scratch.

An outdoorsman's dream camera!
This camera is a dream for being outdoors. It's literally the size of my thumb, battery life is amazing, and it shoots great footage. I've had other action cameras in the past, but the amount of setting and functions makes it totally overwhelming for a video newbie. The Insta360 app makes it easier to use than any of the other action cams on the market and the setup is simple.I personally like to clip it right to the bill of my hat and I know that I can get quick photos or videos whenever I want. It's so small that it's ridiculous to consider leaving it behind. The stabilization works great too for shots on the run.This little guy packs a real punch and will definitely be my go-to camera for all of my mountain adventures to come!

One of the best action cameras in the market
What can I say that we don't know yet? It has the GoPro quality which is fantastic! I'm really happy with the camera and it's been useful for different situations. I've used mine in the beach, running, mounted in my dog in the beach and park, I've done outdoor timelapse, and got me cool shoots in a few events I've worked in as photographer.I bought this one before the Session5 was announced, and I was lucky to try a Session5 along with my Session4 (this model), and it is still a great camera. If you're looking for a smaller GoPro, but think the Session5 is too expensive, then this is your camera. The quality os video is AMAZING! And the mobile app is a must have to get the most of it.I really love it, and made me a GoPro fan. I really recommend it and encourage you to try it.

Affordable Powerhouse
Being new to the action camera market, I was looking for "a GoPro" to start recording quality videos to start a channel on YouTube and for personal records. Being an avid user of YouTube I saw this camera reviewed by channel TechMoan and found all of the statistics and comparisons between the Yi and the Hero to be so close that it made no sense (with the exception of a waterproof shell) to buy a Hero for 100 bucks more when the Yi is just as good AND it has a screen on the back of the camera. I ended up buying an (on sale) $35 accessory kit that came with a waterproof enclosure. So for literally $65 less than a Hero I have a 4k waterproof action camera the size of a half a block of cheese AND several accessories. Easy to use touch screen controls and settings with intuitive menus make this camera a breeze to use even if you have huge fingers such as I. In 2 months useage I have found no reason to not buy this over a Hero. Recommend it to seasoned filmographers for a decent action cam as well as first timers just wanting to test the waters of film.

An upgrade over the v50 pro
This is a very good product, theres been a lot of debate between the elite and the pro and so far I prefer the elite. While the zoom isnt really a useful feature it's got overall better specs and turns out great video. I was impressed with the audio, video quality and the image stabilization. If you're in the market for a sub $150 action camera I think its between this elite, or spending a little more for the yi 4k+

AWESOME action camera at an even MORE AWESOME PRIC
This is my first jump into the "action camera" genre and for what it is worth, the AKASO EK7000 is a purchase worth every penny! Amazing picture and video quality, very easy to get going right out of the box AND bottom line, PRICE! So far, after DOZENS of hours of use, STILL satisfied with my purchase! Would I recommend? Indeed! Already have!There are 22,000 + reviews on this cam for a reason! And that reason is, it's GREAT!!! One of the reasons why I chose the AKASO EK7000! What makes it GREAT! Best Value Action Cam on the Market!!
You can't find a better deal on an action camera. I tried a Target $50 version and after one use in a very shallow pool the camera was dead. This camera has been awesome!- Picture quality is good- Videos are clear- Mic picks up sound well even with the clear non-water proof cover on- Touch screen works flawlessly- Accessories are a nice bonus, 2 batteries is a must!- Remote is cool but I have not needed it much yet. I can see myself needing it when we travel though.If you are not sure about buying this I hope this changes your mind. Unless you are on the Red Bull tour you don't need to spend 5x more for the big brand. I doubt you will notice a difference in video quality unless you plan on putting your videos on a JumboTron. LOL

The Quality is amazing
The Quality on this camera for only 45$ is insane. Definitely the best I've seen in the market. I would recommend everyone buying this product.
