Great choice
I looked at the options and picked this one. My choice was a great one and this holds my pixel2 with ease though the case. I can't imagine a better more cost effective solution.

The magnetic phone holder works great. Previously, I had one that had the arms that hold the phone and, as a 70 year old, it was hard for me to get the phone in and out and it broke. Hence, the need for a new holder. One of my son's friends had this magnetic one and showed me how it worked. I immediately ordered two of these. The magnet fits inside my Otterbox case and is strong enough to hold the phone. I love it. It is small and convenient enough that I plan to take it on a trip and use in a rental car.

I have only had this a short time but so far am very pleased with it. I do like the fact that the holder sticks out a little from the vent to allow more air flow to get to the driver.

Holds phone securely and stays in place
The nice wide magnet holds my iphone 8 plus very securely! I did put two of the magnets in my phone case for extra hold, not just one. The twist-lock mechanism for locking this to the vent is brilliant and works like a charm.
