I purchased this K&F concept light stand tripod as an upgrade to those cheap thin aluminum stands with plastic components that came with my Neewer softbox lighting kit. This stand holds up without having to use sandbags. With heavier equipment such as my GVM bowens large umbrella softbox I use the sandbags for additional stability.I ordered this light stand because I own a K&F Concept tripod with the pan arm and swiss arca mount head and I love this brand! I trust in the brand so much that I have replaced several of my Italian photography brand equipment with the red circle and white M logo and have even converted my photography backpacks that hold my expensive gear over to K&F Concept backpacks. This tripod is extremely light weight with a thicker and higher quality grade of aluminum. The legs have those signature style press and click into position adjustable positions and can be folded into the compact configuration to fit in the included carrying bag. As others have stated, this is the first K&F bag that is not the thick durable nylon but that helps keeps the price point low so I can purchase additional tripod light pole stands.
