The keys are not backlit, just behind them.
The review was typed on the keyboard. It is not a mechanical keyboard but has a similar feel and sound. The mouse went together beautifully with the keyboard.

Good basic keyboard
I love this keyboard and Mouse. I bought this as a fun way to brighten my desk at work. It works great!! I just use it as a basic keyboard.

Fun keyboardmouse and good feel considering such
My kid loves it, no it's not the $200 mechanical keyboard that was on the wish list - LOL - but it lights up looks cool while games are being played.I have tried the keyboard and mouse and for the price, I was quite surprised by the responsiveness and feel of the keyboard and mouse.

Good buy
Wanted a keyboard and mouse for my PS4 setup. And glad I choose this one been getting better at playing fornite on it. Also better then using my macbook keyboard with big hands.

GREAT KEYBOARD
I really recommend this keyboard for beginner gamers or even just the every day user! This is my first ever "gaming" keyboard and it is amazing> the backlights go great with my RGB setup
