Great for hiking
I've started using this camera to record my dogs while hiking in the woods. Its great quality for outdoor recording and I am excited to use the waterproof case in the warmer weather.

great for hiking
Got these to attach my camera to my hiking pack shoulder straps. I like to flip my dslr camera over my head to hang on top of my backpack when not in use using these straps, because otherwise it gets in the way and bounces around when hiking. I feel like I need to get some of the extenders, though, because I kind of have to duck my head when flipping it over, and sometimes it gets stuck. Just using it normally, though, hanging in front, they are great. Feels snug and I'm not worried about them coming unclipped.

great for hiking
Makes carrying around my camera while hiking a lot easier. Sturdy and didn't make me feel like my camera was unsecured while climbing on and over rocks. Easy to use and install. Also was able to still attach the camera to my tripod with the new mount.

Great for hiking
I put down five stars for sound quality, and it is mostly true. If you have it turned all the way up, and sit it on a flat surface it vibrates. This causes some distortion, but i think its an easy trade off. Its hard to complain about it being too loud. :)

Great for hiking!
This worked out great for me, after two days of use it became second nature to slide the camera up without the shoulder pad moving. Used it for an 8-day trip and it was comfortable the entire time. Plenty of room in the pocket for an energy bar, credit card and some cash. I recommend this!

Great for Hiking!
I am a day hiker and Cub Scout leader. Two things typically keep me from carrying an optic with me, 1) weight and 2) fear-of-breakage. This monocular gives me neither of those problems, so I feel no hesitation about bringing it with me. It is very light, and, at this price-point, I don't think breakage would be too big a deal, due to the low price. The view through it is pretty good; I wear glasses and I take them off to use it. I think this would be good at looking for trail signs ahead or maybe wildlife in the distance--you definitely feel the magnification when using it.This optic was recommended by the "Adventure Allen" lightweight backpacking website, I checked out his review, looked at all the Amazon reviews, and thought, "why not?", so I ordered one. I am very happy with my purchase.I think it would be good for a hunter, backpacker, lightweight backpacker, forester, park interpreter or for many other uses. If you are a hard-core bird-watcher, this won't be enough, but that is a different type of use. It comes with a case, neck-strap and lens cloth. It has manual focus.

Great for hiking
I love this telescope mainly because of the size. It is compact and will be easy to carry when we go on hiking trips to look for eagle nests. The quality of view is amazing. Even better than our full size telescope.
