This card was a gift along with my Kindle Fire 7 2-1/2 years ago. Once it was put into the Fire it stayed there until I moved it to my new Fire a year ago -- so it wasn't handled. I only used it a few times to download movies and books for long flights. I'm getting ready for a trip and I discovered I wasn't able to download to the card! I checked settings on my Fire and it showed no card. I tried the card with an adapter in my laptop and it was completely dead. I'm just relieved this card was in my Fire where everything I had on it was backed-up to Amazon, and that I didn't wait until the last minute to try to download to it. Both my Kindle Fires are still going strong. I'd have thought the SD card would have out-lasted them.UPDATE: Samsung contacted me after this review. They requested I provided a receipt, send a photo of the SD card, and then return the card at their expense. Then they sent me a new card! They informed me there is a 10-year warranty! Thanks to this great customer service I will buy from Samsung again. I can't give the card 5 stars, because it did fail, but I've increased my rating from one star to four because Samsung stands behind their product.
