I've been watching this movies for years and enjoy the story between Julie Andrews and Christopher Plummer. The children make the movies very real and human, although the subject matter is very distressful.

I bought these speakers when I was in college 15 years ago and still have the same ones. I have even bought 3 more to gift to people. These speakers are built to last and the sound is insanely clean. The base is is absurdly deep. I've even connected them to my controller used them for live music for house parties. Everyone is always impressed when they hear the sound. You absolutely cannot go wrong with this purchase. The only problem is that the speakers have not kept up with the times and still rely on an oldschool headphone jack to connect to computers (unless you have an optical or audio component outputs) on your device. Headphone jacks on computers these days can be oddly placed especially if have a new imac where the headphone jack is on the side of the monitor. I honestly don't care how much the wires show with these speakers. Destabilizing my OCD is a small price to pay for this level of sound quality. FYI there is a bluetooth adapter now available for this speaker but I haven't tested the sound quality on that and I'm assuming there will be some quality loss or at least a delay, which may be an issue if you record or play live music on your device.
