Works perfectly
Bought this because my laptop's microphone port is extremely noisy. Any microphone connected to it produces a ghastly mechanical hiss. This microphone jack works perfectly. The speaker port works fine, too, but I don't honestly care about it. Product works out of the box on my Linux machine—no setup required at all. Reported as "Audio Adapter (Unitek Y-247A) Analog Stereo."

Good!
As a microphone, this works great! Finally my voice stops cutting out on discord when I speak to friends. At first I always thought it was a program issue rather than an equipment issue, however getting this new microphone fixed everything! It has good sensitivity so I don't have to have this right by my mouth. It sits next to my laptop instead and my friends can hear me fine. The only thing I don't like (nothing to do with t he function of the microphone itself) is the way the clip/stand is positioned. My desk is a bit cluttered and the clip doesn't clip well to my laptop, so there had to be a bit of maneuvering to get my microphone positioned right.

My kids need another microphone for karaoke machine and this was our perfect choice.

Very reliable with decent sound

Buy it!
Bought this microphone not too long ago for my gaming setup. It was cheap and affordable is I decided to try it out and holy it is AWESOME for its price! I’ve had no Janie’s lately and although my microphone isn’t close to me, my freiendes could clearly hear my voice.

easy for a newbie
this is my first microphone, as i am experimenting with podcast formats and wanted to get my feet wet in this arena.this microphone was easy to set up, easy to disassemble from its own stand and put on to a boom, connect to power and to my computer, and record audio.the quality of the recording sounds good to me, as i have experimented with recording with the gain at different levels and listening to the playbacks to detect the difference.the microphone looks nice, feels nice, and works as expected for me.

Works great for a travel mic
I have to do a lot of zoom meetings on the road and this mic helps make those meetings crystal clear. I slap it on top of my Surface Pro 6 and the quality of the microphone is definitely an improvement over the built in microphone and my students heard me great!
