Unable to sync flash to Canon Rebel-X
Nice product, but wouldn't fully sync with my camera, an older Canon Rebel-X. Because of this, it was returned, Part of the problem was the tiny size of the print in the set-up instructions, and the fact that some instructions applied to the camera and some to the flash, but they didn't say which, They were very complicated instructions, and the use of a magnifying glass was necessary for me to see them.

Love this monocular
Love this monocular. It's exactly what I was looking for to use with my photography. Great way to quickly view the area for wildlife and scenes to photograph. Much easier to hold steady than binoculars.

Pleasantly surprised
Really amazed at what these night vision binoculars can do. As a person who wears glasses it's hard to find anything i can use. These work great

Durability - which is unknown at this point.
I use this product for my binoculars. It seems to work just fine; however, I haven't been bird watching too much since I obtained this strap.

Absolutely worth the money
These binoculars are heavy, but not too heavy to hold steadily. The optics are clean and collimated, and provide a good view of many larger deep-sky objects from my backyard. Eye relief is adequate for my daughter to use them while wearing her eyeglasses.I would not want to take these binoculars backpacking (due to the weight) but they have been ideal at sporting events, on a road trip, and for wide field astronomy.

Solid feel, decent optics
For casual stargazing, binoculars can be more fun than higher-powered scopes. And of course you can also use binoculars for general sightseeing. 7x50 is a common power and size for general-purpose binoculars and have been for a long time (my dad still has a German pair of 7x50 binocs that he got shortly after WWII). Magifications exceeding about seven or eight require a tripod unless your hands are exceptionally steady, and with a power of 7-fold a 50mm objective is the right size. The antireflection coatings in these seem to do a decent job of cutting glare, and the focus feels reasonably smooth. The manufacturer clearly agrees with me about 7x being around the limit for handheld use: this pair lacks the tripod fitting that they put on their 12x70 model, so they expect customers to handhold these but use a tripod for higher powers.

Great monocular for bird watching
We're really enjoying this monocular for bird watching. So much easier to use than binoculars which needed constant adjustment. It's lightweight, too. Great purchase.
