I like this mount for the times I want to quickly mount my Insta360 to a magnetic surface, like my car, or a pole (square is better than round). It is a solid mount and has a lot of attention to detail. For starters, the magnetic portion is backed with a silicone anti-slip pad, so I don't have to worry about scratching the magnetic surface, like my car. The hinge is incredibly strong ... the weight of the camera doesn't move it, and it takes some force to move it, but it's not too tight. The 1/4" screw for the camera has a really nicely machined half-circle ring to tighten it by hand. You can also use a flat blade screwdriver to tighten if you choose, but I do not find that to be necessary. Also, the Arca type base easily slides into arca tripod heads. It also has a 1/4-inch hole for a standard tripod, cleverly mounted near the hinge for support reasons.My initial impressions ... when I took it out of the box ... wow, this thing is light! But the magnetic attraction is very strong. It can be used a magnetic mount, a hand-held device (super short selfie stick), or even a desk mount for your camera. I'm glad to have this as part of my photography accessories.
