Upgrade on Classic Walkie Talkies
Got these for a kid 4 years old and they’ve been a surprisingly solid win. The video feature makes it feel a lot more interactive than regular walkie talkies, and they’re easy enough for kids to figure out without a big setup.

We’ve used them around the house and outside during walks, and they’ve held up well so far. Rechargeable is a nice touch (less battery chaos), and the two-pack is perfect for sibling/friend play—or parent/kid “missions.”
