Easy modification to new lens to allow use of magnetic filters
I use the K&F magnetic filter system and when I get a new lens, I need to set it up to take advantage of using this magnetic filter system. To do this, if the filter threads are the common 77mm, all that is required is adding one of these empty magnetic filter rings to the lens’ filter threads. The lens is then ready to accept all the different magnetic filter elements in my kit. The nice thing about using a magnetic filter system is there is no worry about threading and unthreading a filter onto a lens in the field and getting it cross-threaded or dropping the filter while trying to do it.
