Borescopes have many applications. You've probably run across them at your mechanic's shop where they are used to inspect engines and other parts of your car. Borescopes allow you to non-destructively inspect HVAC systems, industrial systems, and heavy equipment for quality control and repair.

If you work on cars or industrial machinery, you will definitely find a use for this. I got it to use to inspect pipes in my crawl space. It works fine for that as well. This unit features an automatic shut-off to prevent it from overheating in hot conditions. It bends 180 degrees which lets you get into very tight spaces and send either videos or stills to your mobile device. It is important to note that while the probe unit IS waterproof, the host unit is not. You'll want to be careful when you inspect wet stuff.
