Love it just wish i read the fine print first
It says that i can put it on my canon rebel, except that in FINE PRINT, i'm supposed to put it on my 55 mm lens.... well that just so happens to be the lens that the camera comes with, that i got rid of. Drat...

I'm not even going to begin to pretend that I could offer as much insight into this camera as some of the other reviewers here, but wanted to add my two cents. This is an excellent camera for anyone looking to buy an entry level DLSR for family or hobby pictures, without putting a huge hole in your wallet. The quality of these pictures may not compete with the higher end DSLRs, but is a significant step above point and shoot and for that matter micro four-thirds cameras. In comparison, the pictures that you could take with this camera looka bsolutely stunning. Oh, did I mention that this camera shoots excellent HD video, significantly above what is criminally sold as 720p or 1080p HD in the point and shoots.I purchased this camera from Amazon, along with a free 16GB SD card and a discount on the 55-250mm lens. Based on the advice of others, avoid the 75-300mm lens thats being offered through this same discount deal, as the 55-250mm lens is vastly superior.Overall, this is an excellent beginner's DSLR camera!

Great SLR for price
This camera is a great digital SLR for the price.Coming from regular point and shoot Canons and Sony around 7MP, this camera blows them away in image quality and is just as easy to use as the point and shoots.Make sure to invest in quality UV or other quality lens protection depending on your intended use for the camera.Also, getting the higher zoom lens is a must-have with this camera, although most of your pictures will be taken in the 18-55 range with the lens that comes with the camera.Only thing that could improve on this camera would be to be able to see the picture on the LCD before shooting(like a point and shoot), but I suppose that defeats the whole digital SLR camera's history and function.

Favorite lens
This is my favorite lens and mostly the only lens I use at the moment. I taken so many beautiful shoots up and until now and will keep on going.

this booster is great for use with long/zoom lens
this booster is great for use with long/zoom lens. I use it at all shoots and is ideal for long shots in dark settings. I would not use with short lens! zoom lens only or you will get flash ring in picture.

Lens works well in my pictures
I only use this lens for a few practice shots. So, far it shoots good pictures for me. I've to use this lens more often to get use to how to work it.

Excellent lens.
This lens has excellent qualities, pictures are sharp perfect and the zoom range is ideal especially for interior shoots as always the L type lens delivered.
