Simply brilliant. The quality is there at all levels.
As a photographer, I use filters, but it's not always easy to put them on or take them off depending on the situation. But with this system, it's so simple that it's almost instantaneous.
The product is of very good build quality and comes with a very well-made, impact-resistant 4-pocket pouch. It can be attached to your belt with a hook-and-loop fastener. The kit consists of two screw-on rings, one for UV and one for empty filters, to which you can attach the CPL or ND1000 filter.
I really wanted to test this new product. First with the CPL filter alone, and then with the CPL filter and ND1000 filter together. The results are simply stunning. Here are the renderings with the CPL filter on the left and the CPL and ND1000 on the right. With the filters, there's no loss of sharpness, and color shift is virtually nonexistent. The CPL filter polarizes perfectly, and the ND 1000 filter is surprisingly effective. It's very thin, which limits vignetting, which is a plus. When using both together, it's best to avoid ultra-wide-angle lenses, but from 16mm onward, no problem; you can combine them. Moreover, they're compatible with my lens hood; I was able to put them on and take them off without having to remove it very easily because the magnetic force is perfectly balanced.
I'm really very satisfied with this first outing. I hope other intermediate magnetic filters with this system will be released soon to complete the offering.
If magnetic lens caps were available, that would be great.
It's a very good investment, and the price is more than reasonable given the quality and results achieved.
