The filter does what a polarizing filter is supposed to do: It increases color brilliance, reduces reflections and makes blue skies even bluer. The effect is perhaps not quite as strong as with professional filters for larger cameras. But the directionality of the effect is not as obvious.
The filter is easy to attach (replaces the original filter) and does not limit the function of the gimbal.
The filter should be removed when taking pictures at dusk - as is usual with polarizing filters, it absorbs a relatively large amount of light (approx. 2 stops).
