Wasn't sure what to expect with this light.

I wanted something that could be used as a fill light for video, generally it would be attached to the camera on the hot shoe to give some light on faces.

It could also be used as a small key light if doing closer shots, depending on the settings you use. I can see this being quite good for macro work to save lugging around larger lights.

The design is interesting, fairly lightweight and compact, similar in size (if a bit larger) than a GoPro.

It has two rotary dials on it that switch between modes and then the other is used for changing settings for that mode, eg changing the flicker type, power and colour temperature.

Output, for 6W, is quite good, it definitely won't be doing much outdoors on a sunny day, but for closer work or indoors it can be used as fill or accent lighting.

Having an internal battery means it can be turned on and placed out of sight, which could be useful.

It charges over USB-C which I am a fan of, so that is a plus in my view.

It has two 1/4 inch screw threads, one top and one bottom of the chassis.

Overall this is a nice small portable light, I guess you know if you would need this, but its also useful to have in the camera bag, and with its size it won't take up much space.
