A Smooth Operator
These 12x42 binoculars are very well designed, easy to adjust, and comfortable to hold. The focus knob is creamy smooth, and I appreciate the fold-down eye cups and captive front lens covers. Images are bright and crisp. I was fortunate to receive a photography kit which included a tripod with accessories required to connect my smart phone with the binoculars and tripod. This photo setup was a bit tricky at first, but became much easier after that. I have attached my first binocular photo, taken in my garden from about 20 feet away. The colors are vibrant and natural and the central image is crispy sharp. While the outer edges of this image are softer, I would not expect perfect edge to edge sharpness in this price range. I am very satisfied with both my purchase and with the polite and responsive customer service I received.
