This is my third sub $200 PTZ Wireless CameraBuild material is mostly all plastic except for the dome top of the camera.Every connection is waterproofed with gaskets.Solar Panel attaches separately and with a single connection to Camera to provide power6 x 18650H Batteries pre installedDual antenna provide decent reception to reach inside house from the backyardUnit only excepts 2.4Ghz which is ok for distance and you don't need 5Ghz speed for cameras anyways.Setup can be a little challenging as it doesn't have a Web interface and it relies on the UBox App for programming and viewing.The setup is what I struggled with a little bit. In the setup you first need to set your phone to your 2.4ghz network. In the setup it will take yo through a wizard then present you with a screen to enter your WIFI password, but then it wont continue. Instead it wants you to scan the QR code on the camera. The thing is, it doesn't show the camera, so you have no idea if your even scanning the code or not. I ended up having to use the Audio setup option. This will send multiple LOUD audio waves for the camera to pick up and program. This did work no problem.Once, setup, the app worked remarkably well and very responsive. In fact the PTZ aspect of the camera was VERY responsive and fast. Much faster then my other two PZ cameras. Ver impressive. Also, the picture quality was very good and decent for this price range.The Few cool premium features this camera comes with is the built in Mic, Speaker and SPOTLIGHT!!You can literally turn on the spot light, which is VERY bright, and pan around with the PTZ to check out your back yard in full light and color. Very Nice feature.With all these features I do have a few cons:This, like many of this price range, is a P2P camera without ONSVIF capability. This is a nice feature that will allow you to easily search and find and add this camera to your DVR for recording. You have to rely 100% on the app for all programming. This is ok if this is the only camera you have, but if you have a Security DVR System, you will not be able to add this camera to that system and will require the app to view.As far as privacy goes, as with any WIFI camera, you will need to keep in mid your privacy while this camera is hooked up to your personal WIFI. Very little if any Encryption is involved and Hopefully it is not easily hackable but no way to prove either.Bottom Line: All in All, if you want this watching your back yard and give you a little control with the added features of the Mic and Speaker along with that powerful bright LED light, this is a great purchase for the Money.If you need this camera to hook up to your existing network, you will need to look elsewhere. This camera does not and will not have that capability.
