Must-have lighting for on-the-go videographers
I give this more of a 4.5 than a 5 because I think it's expensive for its battery size and two of the colors don't look as good as they should. The whole top row is also wrong if you go by the remote buttons, it is white lights in warm, neutral, and cool. The instruction pamphlet mentions 3200K to 5600K, which I'm assuming is in reference to these white lights, making the middle 4400K? There is no true yellow option as the red-green button gives you a yellowish olive green color, more green than yellow. The remote buttons are RGB additive, so keep that in mind. Magenta is a little not magenta enough for me, looks a bit low in saturation. Cyan is absolutely beautiful. Red, Green, and Blue are all deep, vibrant and true. I think this needs an upgrade to make yellow and magenta more accurate. Then add orange, pink, and brown. It has twelve modes of brightness yet for all nine colors, but I'd rather have twelve colors with nine modes of brightness, or twelve and twelve. Unlike some other LED devices that change color, there are no fade, jump, and strobe modes. Those modes would be kind of cool I guess for videos but this wand is made for photography lighting, it is not a Christmas light saber. Speaking of which though, it is very lightweight and feels slightly warm after a long time. I wish it had more power though, since it is a hair dimmer than what I expected out of it, but that could be due to the diffuser panel they used in this, which distributes the light in a long smooth area. The size feels okay, but I'd rather it be 1" longer and give it a bigger battery so the handle weighs more. The end has a hand strap you tie on and there is a screw mount to attach this item onto tripods. Overall, it is a very cool wand and has great potential for long exposure shots and light painting. The controls seem okay but I think the wand handle should use two dials instead to quickly swipe between color and brightness with the thumb moving right-to-left, although up-and-down could work too. The three buttons is easy enough though. It's overall made simple as if intended to be waterproof, even the charge input has a rubber cover, so I think it was a huge mistake to not make this item rain safe. Just imagine the photographs this could make in the rain or a water fountain. It's almost watertight as it is. I would run a line of superglue over mine but I don't know if the joint gaps are designed to be ventilation so I'd better not. The instructions also say not to use the light while charging the battery, because this can reduce the battery life through overheating the charge area, which is strange for a rechargeable device so I’ll have to try and remember this. I don't mean to sound like I'm complaining though, just pointing out what could've done better, as I really like this wand and glad to have a color changing strip of light as an option instead of a spot or ring. Using this product is going to be very cool for all sorts of photography uses, especially portraits and products. I may upload a picture later since I should show what all the colors really look like. The carrying bag is also very nice too, thick and stiff. The additional tripod mount is great quality and useful for maneuvering the wand. Thanks to the mount, I can add it onto my tripod’s quick-release plate and can now change my camera battery and SD card without having to remove my camera.

Capturing baby moments
I loved the photos of my new baby taken with my Canon SD800 point and shoot camera. Once my baby turned about 7 months old, however, good shots became harder to come by since she moved so quickly and her expressions changed with a blink of an eye. I've always hated using flash, because it washes the photos out and you completely lose the background and natural tones. The Rebel XSi at ISO 1600 doesn't have noticeable grain, which allows me to capture more photos of her playing calmly or exploring a new object clearly without having to turn on the flash indoors. My baby is now 10 months old and stumbling around on two feet. Without upgrading my lens, I still have to turn on the flash to catch her 'on the move', but the flash on this SLR produces much better results than my point and shoot. I give the XSi 4 stars because it doesn't always pick out the correct focus plane (my baby's face) on autofocus -- which of course makes a big difference when your depth of field is more limited. I wouldn't get the XSi just for taking baby photos or if you plan to just use it in auto mode, as it has much more potential than that. I plan on doing more creative work with it...as soon as the baby allows me a free moment!

ICE products are COOL! Highly recommended.
Terrific bang-for-the-buck. This is the second ICE product I'll review, expressing my significant surprise/pleasure in product quality/performance, relative to price. I ordered this filter a few days ago and it arrived, well-packed, very quickly (nice job treasuresale). I quickly slapped it onto my favorite wide-angle lens (a Pentax FA 20-35mm) and mounted to my Pentax K-1 and took (after metering and multiplying shutter speed by 1000) a ~1 minute exposure of backyard in broad-daylight with bright partly-cloudy light. Result was "fine" (some fogginess and lack of contrast), but as noted by others, the viewfinder port must be blocked/covered, so I dug for that little plastic window cover (otherwise would resort to electrical tape) and repeated the exposure and got "excellent" - no significant color shift noticed - sky still blue, clouds still white (although now elongated streaks!), grass still green. Other products cost 3-5x and I strongly doubt they deliver much more performance than what I see in this product (although I have never purchased them, so cannot say for sure). Main thing, as I understand it, is shifting white-balance, and this product seems to excel. I'm anxious to use this for smoothing out waves, smearing clouds, etc. during daylight shooting (and to avoid the wear-and-tear of 100's of sequential exposures with my K-1 and in-camera stacking).

Amazing customer service
We bought the Eufy Spaceview monitor several months ago to keep an eye on our little one while he's sleeping. We didn't have another video monitor first, so I don't have anything to compare it to but based on photos I've seen of other video monitors, the Spaceview picture quality is much, much better than others. The features it includes (temperature reading, two-way audio, wide angle lens, sound alerts, and large display monitor are huge pros. We LOVE this monitor because it's completely secure (bluetooth-enabled), which is a huge plus for us especially as we're seeing more and more "hacked" baby monitors in the news.A few months after we purchased our original unit, the monitor lost its picture. After contacting customer service (they are extremely helpful and quick to respond - just know that their time zone is probably way outside of yours so you might get responses at 3 AM local time, but that's totally fine!), they quickly troubleshooted the issues with me via email. When those solutions didn't work, they sent a replacement. Oddly, the replacement camera had an issue but Super Customer Service Rep Lancky came to the rescue and sent us a new one ASAP.Truly, the Eufy Customer Service team has been amazing to work with and so far, we love our Spaceview Baby Monitor. I'll be suggesting this to every new parent from now on!

Great for the price, but with one small issue
I purchased this to use as a back light with a pair of Neewer's 480 LED lights. I wanted one with barn doors so I could control the light a little better.Overall the light output was what I expected. I can shoot video with my lens wide open ƒ1.7 with the shutter set to 1/60 and the ISO at 400, using these lights with the softening insert. It's not super bright, but it's bright enough for me to work with for the video's I'm trying to shoot. I don't know that it would work in a standalone setting for video with much slower glass. I have soft boxes that put out more light, but they're a pain and the CFL bulbs tend to get broken. The only problem I see with this particular one is that mounting bracket for the light stand is only has a hole on the bottom. The problem this causes is that you can't angle the light down with the barn doors attached, which makes them useless in more than a few situations. Oddly enough the other pair I purchased without barn doors has a mount that can be used from the side. I swapped them out and it works fine for my needs, but if you haven't gotten a set of the others It could be a problem. The exact temperature control is also an issue, but you can use a grey card and sort that out in your camera.Overall I think they're great, but I couldn't give the light 5 stars. If I could I might have gone with 4.5.

Easy Setup! Video Unviewable after 48hrs!
Immediately setup without difficulty. Follows movement well and records to SD, BUT VIDEO UNVIEWABLE after 48hrs (like other Cams require cloud purchase, cripples functionality w/o cloud purchase). Notifications work well for motion activated using silent notifications. Creates multiple 10sec clips when motion activated. (Update1-this feature began failing (Works from remote distance through phone for viewing)) and allows clip download to phone from SD recording! So Far, Only on DAY THREE of use, close to router. So far, no network connection cutoffs, additional charges encouraged, no foreign IP camera control takeover as warned about for other models. Updates if experience changes!Update1: Night Vision works until twilight then infrared gets confused in dim light, but works in dark.Update2: fourth day, RETURNED for replacement product due to Night Vision failing, Remote Viewing control failed, Random movement uncontrolled, Video image became scratchy looking like debris movement across lens when area was clear and lighted, but unlighted (Night) was worse. So close to being a good product. Video viewing crippled after 48hr use is deceitful tactic to force Cloud storage purchase! Buyer beware!Update 3: Received Replacement Unit, Install easy again, Day 1: SD video storage, outdoor, increased stars, New1st impression good.

Solid baby monitor
This device works pretty well. It's easy to set up and get going, and is reliable. The monitor unit is also fairly sturdy because I've dropped it more times than I should have but it still works great. We have twins so in order to see both cribs at once we needed to mount the camera up high and also use the provided wide angle lens. The different functions in the monitor were a little unintuitive and took some figuring out. The main thing that you will probably want to use is the sound triggered function that turns the unit on and produces sound when your baby makes sound. This is called the "Voice Operated Exchange." You need to set VOX Mode to: On, and then set the Alert Threshold to where it will reliably turn the unit on when the baby makes noise, but also remain off when background noise happens (like a white noise machine or other incidental noises). When the boys were infants we had the Threshold at 1 (lowest, most sensitive) but now have it at 2. The other feature that is probably most useful is the Sleep Mode time, which sets how long before the unit automatically dims it's screen and volume (until the sound threshold is passed or you hit a button to look at your kid). Battery life is good, but at night I recommend turning your screen brightness all the way down and setting your Sleep mode time to 1 min. so that the monitor battery life will last over night. Good luck with your baby!
