Purchased this for a vacation I was taking and didn't' feel like packing my normal sized tripod. My main goal for this was so I could take long exposure photos of the stars when my dad and I stayed on top of Comet mountain in Montana. To reach the trail head we had to ride dirt bikes 4 miles in because the roads were too ruff for most vehicles to traverse so a full sized tripod was out of the question. This little guy performed wonderfully. It was small and light weight so I could just toss it in a pocket on my backpack and it held the camera still enough to take some decent photos (my camera is a point and click so it wasn't going to be National Geographic worthy)

After using this product on multiple jobs as a full time media company. I can strongly say I am surprised by the quality and functionality of the tripod at the price point! I was a little weary about all the options it has and still being under $200 but needless to say we ordered two more for my business!

Very easy to set up and use. It comes with a small/short tripod attachment for the bottom of the unit. Our company was spending thousands of dollars on hiring videographers for events where we capture focus group feedback/information. Now, we are using these (we ordered 2 of them), along with our mobile phones, and it works like a champ!

I ordered this tripod quite sceptical, previously I ordered another Amazon basics tripod, that broke. As soon as I opened the box, I was plessently surprised by the overall construction of the unit. From the (seemingly) anodized aluminum, to the overall construction of the plastic pieces, I was quite satisfied. The fact that it arrived in one piece, was surprising considering the lack of any sort of packaging material. Concidering the "emense care" in place from the local delivery people, that certainly aided my confidence in the construction. I didn't realize, until this point, that is had a crank to raise the camera. This super useful, it helps you smoothly pan the camera vertically for some exquisite b-roll. Oh right, the head. It's okay for the price. The plastic binds, making a smooth pan difficult. It has a level, which is useful for ensuring you don't have a sideways shot. But if you want that sideways shot, you can. When the screw is tight, the rotation adjustment has discrete steps, and if you loosen it, it becomes linear. The leg adjustment feel sturdy with little to no give, and the feet swivel to match the angle of the ground. For this price, I could not find another tripod with around same features. All in all this product has excellent bang for the buck, and should last.

WOW!!! This was a great buy, and it seems to be well built. It's great for the price. I'm glad I didn't buy the more expensive one.

I really love this product. I have weird lighting in the room I stream from, and this works wonders. It has three different color modes, with varying degrees of intensity. It's super easy to set up, and comes with a tripod or screen mount. Would definitely recommend this to anyone who streams or does zoom often.

Love how fun this thing is!!! The SkyAlign took some getting use to but once I started using the Auto 2 Star, it all fell into place. Was very pumped to have it track right to Andromeda Galaxy and the Dumbell Nebula. Having a lot of fun getting back into Astronomy with this. The tripod is a little shaky but that gets mitigated by lowering the settings for stability.

I'm really liking it. I had the tripod fully retracted and was using it on my car, it was a little icy and I knocked the thing onto the 1" gravel below. The tripod permanently became alteredinto a bipod. The lenses became a little loose. I loosened and retightened the retainingring gently (as people say should be done anyway) and we're good as new. Bought anOrion tripod, appx $100. Bought some higher end optics that work but haven't had agood test yet. I was previously using a Celestron 6x30 monocular and didn't want to stray too far from the wide view and ease of use. Was watching Orion and an orionid went by,thing looked like a truck. I've just been using the low power eyepiece. The moon lookedgood as well. You can take the center of the objective lenscap out for bright objects,although I haven't done that yet, it wasn't in the documentation (I don't belive).We're in inland Connecticut at 400' with light pollution and trees. I took the finderscopeoff as I don't use it. You can point at something and find it.
