Perfect small fill light!
Overall: Really impressed by this little light. Prefect size and options to mount for everyone!Build: Small light. Plastic construction but doesn't feel cheap.Performance: Wish it could go a little dimmer but being able to adjust temperature is perfect. Battery life is good for something so small. I appreciate that its USB-C. Got about 30 minutes of use at full tilt.Value: Compared to other brands this is a good price for what you get. Adjustable temp is a great added feature.

Low price, high functionality!
The installation only takes a few simple steps; the wifi connection worked immediately, unlike other brands!The video quality is excellent during the day, and the night mode is impressive and allows you to keep an eye on your home even when there are no lights on.The application is very well designed and allows you to manage the camera's features easily: activate/disable the detection, access the recordings, take a screenshot, activate the private mode to disable the camera. A detection zone can be defined to avoid unnecessary alerts, and the motion sensitivity can be adjusted to only detect humans.SwitchBot lets you choose between local recording on a microSD card or a cloud service; it is very nice for those who don't want to use cloud services.In short, for this price, this camera meets all my expectations!

Good so far
This camera is pretty good. There's just something that's missing but I can't quite put my finger on it. The picture is sharp, but could be sharper. Pity there isn't a better way of clamping this to the top of a monitor. I have 2 different manufacturers of monitors. It fits meh OK on one, and the other is a balancing act (since it's a little curved at the back). Needs a more adjustable clamp. But for what it is, it's far better than the built in laptop camera!Update 9/27/2020The camera stopped being recognized by my laptop. I tried it on another laptop - same thing. I contacted the seller - Smartcloud-US - and they sent me a new replacement unit, no questions asked, at their expense, which works without issue. The vendor stands by it's product.

High resolution, wide view, remote adjustment
This monitor has been a lifesaver! I work from home and for an hour or two at a time, my toddler is in an enclosed play space in the basement and I watch him from the monitor. The previous monitor I used had a very limited view, small screen, low resolution, and I could not adjust the camera remotely. This one upgraded all of those specs and it is exactly what I need. I am able to pan the camera from the monitor screen, the image and sound are very clear, and I have a much wider view. The only thing I don’t like is that the camera doesn’t pan downward very far unless you mount it on the wall (I just have it sitting on a shelf). Otherwise, this is an amazing product!

Pleasantly surprised!
This is a great multipurpose camcorder (it takes videos, still pictures, and voice recordings). It requires an SD card of whatever storage capacity you wish, which are available very inexpensively. In my video, illustrate how I use this video camera to make movies, then transfer them to a Windows computer (the camera uses FAT-32 file system) and makes recordings in .AVI format. I further illustrate how to upload a video to YouTube which you can share with friends and family world wide. You can also stream your videos from the live Internet to a smart TV, which I also illustrate. This is a great all around camera at an excellent price point. It is great for everyone, but also perfect for someone interested in learning inexpensively how to edit and produce movies on their computer.

UPDATE: Works great now! Quit working after just 4
UPDATE: After checking connections and re-tightening every thing, the camera charges 100% daily and works great! Customer Service was on top of my review ASAP and wanted to promptly resolve the issue!I received the camera on Tuesday June 29, charged it up according to the instructions, installed on Wednesday the 30th, paired it with my phone and it was awesome! Very clear picture and we tested it from town about 12 miles away and it worked great. Last night July 4th it completely died, as if the solar panel never charged the system and it ran on batteries being charged via charging adapter and receptacle. I am a 67 year old male cancer patient and now I have to drag that big *** ladder out again and take the camera back down.

Excellent value
This camera was easy to install on the exterior of the house, and after downloading the app, it was easy to get the camera up and running. I downloaded the app on my iPhone, and then ‘shared’ it with my iPad and my wife’s iPhone. I really like the fact that you have complete control over the settings from all ‘shared’ devices. The quality and clarity of the images is much better than I expected, and the pan mode works great. It was very windy, the day I installed it, and it kept notifying every time a bush blew from the wind. I changed the detection sensitivity from high to medium, and the issue was solved. I love this camera so much I purchased a second one to monitor another area. The features and ease of use are outstanding.

Pretty good monitor for my needs
I really like the camera, before i was using 2 cameras for the qualities they had together and was fine with that for a while. one had terrible night vision but could zoom and had the ability to move it. were the other had good night vision but was only an aerial view and good sound. this camera does all of those things together and i only need 1 monitor now, plus i can use my phone if i want. i only put it at 4 stars because the monitor doesnt have the best battery life, but thats not really an issue for me because i can use my phone if i like but the monitor does has slight connectivity issues. but nothing major that cant be dealt with. over all good camera for watching your little one.

Peace of Mind
I usually dont write product reviews but I was compelled to write this, because of the exemplary after sale service I have received from the support staff at Soliom and especially Karen. Every time I have written in with questions on the operation of the camera, I received a detailed and very helpful response, always within 24 hours. This level of service from a China-based vendor is beyond anything I have ever experienced before and helps to build trust in the product. The camera itslef is terrific value for the price and it has become an indispensable part of my family's security and "Peace of Mind". I would highly recommend this camera for its completely wireless installation, quality, ease of use and especially, the great after sales support -thank you Soliom!
