Great telescope, great value!
My 12yr daughter is in love with space now, so I took several months to find a great starter telescope which will enhance her excitement of space. I wanted a telescope that was affordable, easy or not much difficulty to operate, and had a decent range, and not just see white dots in the sky. This telescope exceeded my requirements! It comes with a great app that my daughter uses even when she’s not using her telescope. The telescope also uses your cell phones GPS to locate objects. ANDDDDDDD…. It’s made by one of the more reputable brands. I don’t think you can find a better telescope for the price. We love it, and would buy this over and over and over again!

Helpful if you don’t know what you’re doing!
We bought this guide along with a telescope for our daughter for Christmas. Since we know nothing, it’s been helpful to have this book guide us through several telescope experiences. It’s clearly written, informative, and fun! It helps parents and kids enjoy the tool and the science of telescope observation.

All looks great. This telescope is a Christmas gift for my son. He will be totally surprised and will think it’s great to have his own telescope.

Everyone should own this great little MAK!
I love this little Sarblue 60mm Maksutov telescope! I hesitated to buy it at first, but after a review from a fellow amateur astronomer and watching a YouTube video review by Astronomy and Nature TV, I ordered it through Amazon Prime and received it the next day!The package came well packed for shipment, and was lighter than I expected. I own 9 telescopes (now 10), and this telescope arrived better protected than most! After I unwrapped and assembled the scope, I set the scope on my table and looked through the patio door at some distant tree tops. The view was as clear as some of my bigger scopes! I like the metal legs of the tabletop tripod and it is sturdy and wobble-free. The eyepiece is adequate with a plastic barrel, and the views are pleasing. The telescope tube is designed well and I saw no extra untrimmed plastic. I like that the top of the tube can be removed to show the mirrors and inner workings of the scope. The focuser works better and more smoothly than my larger, more expensive telescopes with no backlash. The manual is informative with pictures. The phone adapter is a bonus and is easy to attach to the eyepiece.Of course, the sky clouded completely up that night. The next day before nightfall, I set up the scope on a larger tripod and waited for darkness. I was able to observe the bright star Sirius, the Orion Nebula, and the Seven Sisters (Pleiades) star cluster before the clouds took over. The views of the stars were pinpoint , tack sharp, and through defocusing the brighter stars on either side of focus, I got nice round donut-shaped stars - exactly what you want in a well collimated telescope. I can't wait to see and take pictures of the moon and planets!I have left detailed reviews on several astronomy websites and showed a school teacher this telescope. She is planning to buy it through my recommendation! For beginners and amateur astronomers as well, I recommend this telescope with the following advice:As others have noticed, the alignment/finder bumps are difficult or cannot be seen in the dark. Buy some glow paint or tape and add a little dot of it on top of each bump to make it easier to find objects. A bigger camera or video tripod in place of the table tripod will allow you to observe from a sitting or standing position. Amateur astronomers will find ways to attach this little MAK to their existing telescope setups or to a motorized mount to automatically follow the stars. Beginners, have patience, as looking through telescopes takes practice and patience to find objects in the sky.

Powerful Portable Telescope
The performance, capabilities and build quality of this purchase exceeded my expectations. The Mak60 Reflector Telescope 750mm really is a modern marvel in a small package. Don't let the plastic exterior and size fool you. This is a serious piece of equipment capable of great shots and videos near and far. Be patient when adjusting the focus and you will find what you are looking for. The tripod could be upgraded for sturdier panning, but the one included does the trick and is very easy to travel with. The three screw-hole options on the bottom of the telescope is a nice touch, allowing multiple positions to counter the weight of different phones.

Great value telescope for the beginner
Great beginner telescope. Easy to assemble and instructions are clear enough to assemble and know what the accessories do. I would highly recommend for a first telescope as the value is there
