Canon vixia hf r800
I order this product for my Canon camcorder.. I didn't see but one person that had a camcorder review that wrote a review about this mic so I wanted to share my review... it came boxed really well.. however you will need 2- aaa batteries for the mic doesn't come with batteries which is no big deal... It also comes with a windsock which for me is a plus bc I'll be using this to record my hunting videos.. however I went outside and actually tested the mic. And the comparison between just the mic on the camcorder itself and then when this mic is turned on its unreal... I thought I had good audio with just the cam corder mic but man when plugged this mic in and turned it on the audio was just clear and even better quality... The wind was also blowing and never could I hear the wind blow with the windsock on it... I also did a walk away clip. Where I had just the cam corder recording as I walked away from the cam talking normal voice and then I plugged the mic in and did the same thing. Walked away while talking normal and man you talk about the mic picking up my voice longer and farther way then the built in mic on the cam corder. It was also clear.. I'm well pleased with this mic...

Great performance and even better value
This mic exceeded my expectation. I switched from a Blue Yeti Nano cardioid mic. Need to change to a dynamic mic to reduce the ambient noise (off-center) noise during my video (Zoom) meetings. This delivers great sound, build quality, and features. The option to use it as an XLR mic in the future is nice to have if I ever decide to do get a mixer.

A perfect mic for my space and needs! Worth the mo
This mic does the job better than I expected for a fair price. I plugged it up to my laptop and picked it for use and I was up and running in a flash! The mic allows one to pick how to receive sound from various directions and adjust gain and volume. I am using this mic to get the voices of a classroom during zoom meetings. I recommend this mic to others.

UPDATE - One of the mic clips (it came with two) was broken when the mic arrived. I emailed customer service and they sent a whole new product. I’d totally buy this again. The mic sounds great and the customer service is awesome.This mic has made all the difference in my testimonial videos. It looks professional and sounds awesome. The mic itself it built very sturdy and the long cord allows you sit far enough away from your phone to get a good shot!

GREAT starting Mic.
I could not be happier with the Samson Go Mic:*It's small.*It's lightweight.*The recording quality is stupendous.*The USB cable is long enough to allow the Mic to most likely go as far from your PC's location as needed.All in all, I've recorded maybe 3 songs with this Mic, and the quality of all 3 was professional-sounding. I would recommend this mic to anyone.

Best Mic Holder Yet!
Most mic holders are super tacky, not sure why, they just are.This mic holder is great, does a wonderful job holding up under stress and has a much better reach than my other mic arms.When the mic is in position, unlike my other booms, it actually stays still so that's awesome too. Overall a good, more professional option for me.

Solid mic would recommend to anyone
Very solid mic. I was nervous at first because I was using a condenser mic before but this dynamic mic is my new fav. You do sacrifice some audio definition between the two but it’s very slight. (Condenser mics pick up more detail because it’s more sensitive, dynamic mics are not as sensitive) still a great mic and perfect for everything!

Youtubers, Podcaster, Streamers Need This Mic

I honestly don't have anything negative to say about this mic. If you are just getting into youtube, podcasting or streaming, this is the mic to get. If you are currently using a usb mic, this is the mic to upgrade to. Audio Technica has always made great mics and this one is no different. The build is top notch and the sound well exceeds the price. A must have.

Not a Shure SM58 but offers decent sound quality f
I'm not sure how the mic will hold up over time compared to a Shure but out of the box the sound quality is similar to an SM58 and it seems to be built well. It's an incredible value for the price. Decent low budget vocal recording mic or performance mic.
