Very easy to tell who the manufacturer/seller ratings are and who the customer ratings are.

Back in the 80s, Cambridge SoundWorks introduced their “tiny” Ensemble series of speaker systems. In an age of the bigger the speaker, the better the sound, most of us assumed the speaker system - two very small black boxes on little stands and a base unit, a bigger box - was a toy or a knock-off. What it was was revolutionary. A smart move, the company’s marketing strategy was the interactive experience: place demo people in music stores and malls and let passers-by hear it for themselves. Once I got over my belief that bigger and really expensive was better and listened to the Ensemble system seriously, I was blown away. I was not going to replace my expensive component stereo system with them. But I would put them in my bedroom, or vacation home. Which I did.Now many years later, in an age where smaller is better, and now there must be hundreds of really small, portable, high-quality speaker systems ... I just ordered and received my Oontz 3 speaker. I was happy to see the company is still alive. Setup and pairing took literally one minute. At 67 years old, I play music softer than in the past. The Oontz 3 is perfect for streaming Amazon Prime Music, and any music source, which I do on my laptop. Good, clear, resonant sound. If you have a good ear for music and want quality for $25, you probably won’t find many options as rich sounding and clear as this for the price. And, of course, it’s portable. Give it a try. Not satisfied? If you have Prime, return it. But I don’t think you will.

I like the different brightness levels. My wife suggested I use this brand because of the ratings.

In al honest, if I really used it more often the ratings would probably be higher.
