I'd choose another
My husband is a dark-skinned male and the light seemed to make him darker. I have had webcams that auto-adjust in no light that light better. I wouldn't recommend this camera for a dark-skinned person of color if you are looking for the light on the camera to make you show up. As a medium brown woman, it added a bluish tint to me, but overall I didn't like the look with myself either.
