This drone is insane. The 4 batteries are an awesome addition that makes it way easier to charge them all at once with the hub charger thingy I also bought for this drone. It way faster than I thought it would be, even pulling off tricks in the air felt smooth. Flies for about 5 min with two batteries and for the price, it’s insane! This is super durable too, even withstanding my sister flying it across the neighborhood and falling to a demise for any other drone but NOPE it survived and still works great. The goggles are comfortable and are simple to use as well as the controller.10/10 would buy again starting fpv in any other lifetime.

First off all, there are two versions of X, 1: Betaflight, which is more dependent on pilot, and 2: Frsky, which has sensors and altitude hold, for any beginner, first to do thing is to download simulator and start in there, it has some issues with camera mount, but belive when you start flying you'll figure it out how to screw and unscrew :))), either way start in simulator

I have the regular Cetus FPV and love it. I upgraded to Cetus X and it is even more fun. Only problem was me sticking it in the top of a tree three days after receiving it. I order another Cetus X from BetaFPV without the kit. Haha. Lesson learn. Go slow if you are upgrading from Cetus or Cetus Pro. Have fun!

Has been great so far, I’ve always wanted to learn FPV and this helped massively so much so I even have a new drone on the way that will bind with the gear the Cetus X comes with. It has also been very durable and surprisingly resistant to wind.

Just flew it for a little while but really happy with it. I was confused as to which one to buy as there are so many. I've only flown cheap drones so was looking to move up. Haven't tried the goggles yet but so far very happy with it. It has a lot of power so you gotta take it easy but I can already tell it's gona be great

For the price this kit ROCKS. 4 batteries, tools, extra props, charging cable, A VOLTAGE CHECKING CHARGER, drone, remote, and headset. Seriously AWESOME For the price. Drone is rock solid. I'm a 31 year old mechanic and can follow instructions, this drone works right out of the box as long as you follow instructions to a T. The remote works on my simulators which is sweet as well. Have only flown inside due to weather but this is a next level experience. Kinda overpowered for indoors but I'm starting to think the "X" mean cross between indoor and outdoor.

Great for outdoors, can maintain good control in 15mph wind or below, good for indoors if the interior is spacious or an experienced pilot. Fast and durable and can withstand crashes. I would say it’s moderately difficult to control with little to no experience because of the high sensitivity of the controls. Drone worked perfectly out of the box

This drone is very beginner friendly for learning how to fly FPV. With the three modes it comes with, the more confident you become with flying, the more you can push your limits. It is very durable and has take many crashes when I was learning. Working on the drone is straight forward, get a replacement frame, turn a couple of screws, plug in the motors, and keep flying! Overall, I am very satisfied with the Cetus X, it is fast, durable, and a great gateway into the world of FPV!

To preface this, prior to owning this drone the ONLY experience flying I had was with a DJI drone that basically flew itself. I honestly didn't realize how difficult flying a drone actually is. I'll leave advice based on my experience at the end.This is by far the best kit to get you up in the sky ASAP. If you aren't sure you'll like this hobby and don't wanna invest too much in something you aren't sure you'll stick with, this is what you're looking for. Build quality is good, and the flight time it gives you is about 8-10 minutes with the lipos provided in the kit. It's also quite durable as I attempted to fly it several times before trying a simulator and crashed every time.That leads me into my advice. If you own a PC, Mac, or steam deck - PLEASE fly in a simulator first. Give it at least 5-10 hours before using the drone. Yes, you can probably get off the ground with angle mode, but that's not why you bought this drone. You bought this because you saw people doing sick tricks and flying fast. This drone will do that.I tried several sims, however I highly suggest using "Liftoff". You can download this drone on steam workshop and it flies very similar to real life. You can use the provided radio(controller) to fly in game and it's so worth it as well as being fun!I also suggest buying another set of props(it comes with an extra set, but when you use this drone as a lawn mower it breaks them down quickly). You can also get 550mAh lipos from betafpv that work perfectly with the cetus x and it'll give it another minute or 2 of flight time, as well as a whoopstor 3 to charge 6 batteries at the same time.

If you want to learn FPV, buy this drone.I bought this drone about 2 months ago as a complete newbie. I can now confidently fly on Air/Acro mode, shoot gaps, and do stunts.This drone has taken a BEATING. I’ve hit my house, trees, light poles, concrete, the occasional small child (kidding), and myself (wish I was kidding).Despite how hard I’ve crashed this thing, it flips back over and gets right into the air every time. It has scratches, gouges, and a nice coat of green grass to prove it.The VR03 goggles are great. Throw a 32gb memory card (can’t go higher than 64) and you can record your flights. Some people use this headset with other drones.The drone itself doesn’t have the best range, but it’s enough to learn on. More than about 150 feet and you’re gonna get bad static. Poor penetration too, don’t fly behind buildings.This is the perfect entry level drone. It takes a beating, has 3 fly modes from beginner to experienced, and the controller feels great.Buy yourself a few more sets of batteries because you’re going to want to get more flight time.
