When the sun drops closer to the horizon and the cloud higher in the sky is darker a soft grad can unbalance the image, a hard grad also unbalances the image, thats where this little beauty comes in i never knew how much i needed one of these until I got one a brilliant filter does exactly what i want it to and its very high quality a phenomenal piece of glass now essential in my camera bag I would'nt leave home with out it.

This is a solid ND filter. I've recently started using square filters instead of circular filters. Below is some of the longer exposures, I shot with this filter. I'm still learning photography, so this filter has been really good to practice with and it helps me progress and learn with my longer exposed shots and photos. Would highly recommend for anyone looking to improve their photography.

I've used this filter a few time now and it provides excellent contrast to city lights, structures and starry skies.

F/stop gain 11 (for example, it allows you to extend the shutter speed from 1/125 to 16 seconds)
I attach a shot taken at 35 mm on FF with k&f Nd2000
f8-30 seconds.

I'm extremely happy with the filter; it does what it's supposed to without any color changes. I use it in a Rollei filter holder and it works without any problems.
