Holy smokes! This thing is a fraction of the price and way better than the SLR 82mm and the Singh-Ray 82mm variable Nd filter I purchased. Seriously did not think a $60 filter would beat out a $400 Singh-Ray. I’m using this on a Sony A7riii with a 24-70 2.8 G Master and there’s no color distortion. There is a very very very slight vignette in the first 2-3 mm of each corner but that’s far less than the Singh-Ray and SLR. Plus there’s no X.

Despite what's advertised, I did notice the X shape at the darkest setting, ND32. But up till ND16 the X shape isn't there and it's perfectly usable. I would even say that even at ND32 it's usable for some settings where the X wouldn't affect the image much as it's not TOO bad. The photo I've attached was actually at ND32, but the X shape isn't really noticeable.

The ND filter has physical stops it from spinning completely around, this avoids the X mark whi, h is nice. The throw is smooth and produces nice photos while keeping the f stop low.The one downside which isn't all that bad is that you can't use it with a lens hood, so your lens is protected but not the filter. Highly recommend and worth the price.

Absolutely the best ND Filter out there!!! This blows Pro-Master's 82 ND out of the water with the no-banding in the corners. This filter is tough, well built, affordable, and maintains great image quality when filming. I highly, HIGHLY, recommend this filter.

Seriously this is the best filter I have ever bought for my Canon 16-35. This smashes other ND filters out there! No banding or weird "X" stuff what so ever. Affordable, well-built, and preserve the great image quality you strive to get. You cannot go wrong with this filter. I cannot wait to buy more for my other lenses!

The filter was heavy and clear. Fits my canon camera lens.Actually it gives a nice click of the pictures during the sunlight.The filter didnt interfere with the lens focus and its quatlity of images.

I've been looking around for a variable ND filter that doesn't have that "X" pattern you see mentioned in a lot of the reviews. So far I haven't seen it with this filter. It feels well made, the ring turns smoothly, and so far the darkening seems uniform and even. Overall I'm very happy with it and will continue to take more pictures with it to see how it works.
