Works as well as the official Premium lens to me. At certain lighting you can see the reflection of this lens which is in line with the official one. I haven't really put it through anything rough and I don't intend to but it seems to be working as expected so far.

These are nice premium and solidly fitting lens covers. Minimal distortion or glare. I was very pleased with the fit and performance on my X5. If you involve any level of activity to your filming, you need to cover the lenses. I have knocked into bushes, had tripods fall over, even cracked a protector or two, but my lenses are fine. This is an absolutely required product for every X5 user, and these are good covers, not cheap plastic that get in the way of great shots.

I ordered these Insta360 lens guards to protect my camera lens, and for the most part they worked well. I did see a little bit of more reflection with these on, and had the camera set to premium, but it was noticeable in my shots. They were mostly fine, until one day recently when my camera dropped, and landed on one side, shattering the glass, but the glass scratched my camera lens as well, so now i have to replace my lens guards and my actual lens as a result. I think they could be designed better, because they are not exactly that much cheaper, and they definitely have some issues.

When installed, these protectors automatically trigger the premium lens guard mode on my x5. The image remains distortion free, with the only downside to them being the added thickness to the lens portion of the camera. The cover on my foldable selfie stick still wraps around these covers but they do end up touching.Running this on my motorcycle mount currently and the peace of mind of having these on is great.

I really like the quality to value of K&F camera gear. I have a K&F cage on my X5 and I have a bunch of their filters for my mirrorless camera. They lock on well and seem really secure. They are crystal clear. I tested how they would look in the footage by taking a 72 megapixel 360 degree picture. There was a harsh light source in the picture and I noticed that in this area there were some dust particles and a bit more glare. But the rest of the frame is really clear. But best of all, I can have peace of mind. I'm always worried about the camera falling over. I know the lenses can be replaced but these covers are less expensive. The best thing is, the silicone cover that came with the K&F cage still fits perfectly over these. Very nice.

I've been a big fan of K&F Concept since they make tons of solid camera and action cam accessories. There are a lot of generic lens guards out there, but K&F is a proven brand, and these X5 guards are no exception.Unlike some of the so-called “premium” lens guards I’ve tried, these were immediately recognized by the X5 with a popup notification confirming they were installed. When that happens, don’t forget to calibrate your stitching — otherwise you’ll end up with reflections, flare, or weird visual artifacts.For under $28 (less with coupons), these are an awesome value. They come in a slim travel case that’s easy to toss into your gear bag, and K&F includes a nice microfiber cloth too. If you don’t want to spend more on the OEM lens guards, these are hands-down your next best option!
