K&F CONCEPT Expansion Cage Frame Compatible with Insta360 Go Ultra Action Camera Accessories, with 1/4" Thread Adapter, Bracket Action Mount Set for Tripod, Selfie Stick, Bike, Car, Helmet, Chin Mount
SKU: KF12.0020
This is a must-have accessor for the GO Ultra which honestly should be included with the camera. It allows you to mount the camera module to and GoPro-style or 1/4-20 mount using the included adapter. The fit and quality is excellent, and it leaves the back open enough to not interfere with attaching rear accessories like the magnetic charging cable. You can set the camea in the frame in whatever orientation you choose, including vertical or upside down. The price is better than the first-party similar mount, and it is just as good.

For ten bucks this is a no-brainer. It’s a custom-fit cage for the GO Ultra camera module (not the Action Pod) that weighs almost nothing at 6g, protects the body, and gives you real mounting options. You get GoPro-style ears plus a 1/4" thread, so it drops onto a tripod, selfie stick, bike mount, or helmet setup without weird adapters.Buttons and card access stay clear, the fit is snug, and it pops off easily when I drop the cam back in the pod to charge. I trust K&F gear, and this feels higher quality than most generic frames I’ve tried for the GO Ultra so far.

If you’re going to be doing extreme action stuff with your Insta360 GO Ultra, you need this mount. This securely holds your camera to keep it from falling out. This is much more secure than any of the magnetic accessories, but it’s going to take more time to take in and out. Which is fine if you want a really secure mount to not lose your camera. Definitely worth it for this accessory.

One of the draw backs of the Insta360 GO Ultra is the lack of mounting options that come out of the box, so for just under £10 this accessory is a must-have. Though there is little to this small package in reality, it tightly fits around the tiny camera, with the pressure being exerted through the screw.I was concerned the plastic would just snap, as it is quite thin, and under quite some tension - however this has been fine so far after a few weeks of use.The mount gives the familiar hinge-barrel connection used often with action cameras and means my collection of mounting options is now open to me with this new camera, it also, cleverly has a standard tripod barrel screw at the bottom, allowing use for selfie-sticks, tripods and other mounting devices that use that standard. This really opens up the possibilities now of capturing those great shots with this camera.

Good product to make up for the lack of the original product... indeed better and cheaper than the original!

Very secure, but needs tightened quite tight to stop any slipping. Longevity of the plastic under that kind of tension will be the big question..

I bought the mount for my motorcycle helmet and am super happy with it. Exactly what I was looking for.

Picked up this K&F Concept frame for the Insta360 GO Ultra and honestly, for a tenner, it’s doing a pretty solid job. The GO Ultra is tiny and a bit too “slippery gadget” for my liking, so having it in a proper cage instantly makes it feel less like something you’re going to drop down a drain. The fit is nice and snug — no wobbling, no rattling, and it doesn’t feel like you’re forcing the camera in or out. The cutouts line up where they should, so you’re not fighting with the buttons or blocking the mic ports. Once it’s clipped in, it feels protected without turning the camera into a brick. What I like most is the mounting flexibility. The bottom mount actually feels solid enough to trust, and you can throw it on a tripod, selfie stick, or even a weird angle clamp without the camera spinning itself loose. The expansion points are handy too if you like adding lights or extra bits.Only thing worth noting is the latch — it’s fine, but you do want to make sure it’s properly clicked shut before doing anything stupid like hanging the camera upside down. Not a deal-breaker, just something to be aware of.Overall, for the price, it’s a genuinely good little accessory. Makes the camera easier to handle, gives a bit of protection, and opens up more mounting options. One of those “should’ve bought it from day one” bits.

I use the K&F CONCEPT extension frame for my Insta360 Go Ultra and am really satisfied. The price is really good compared to other cage solutions and yet it doesn't feel cheap at all. The Ultra camera module sits super securely in the frame, nothing wobbles, nothing rattles. Once screwed on, the whole thing is really bombproof — exactly what you want when shooting action or outdoor shots. It's really easy to use: insert the camera, tighten and you're done. It is also easy to attach to accessories (stand, holders, etc.) without fiddling. For me, this is a clear purchase recommendation for anyone who wants to better protect their Insta360 Go Ultra and use it flexibly at the same time.

This K&F frame for the GO Ultra for less than ten bucks is one of those accessories you buy out of curiosity and then you don't understand how you've lived without it. Look, I used the GO Ultra basically with the pendant and the cap clip, and I was delighted... until I realized that I had a mountain of GoPro holders laughing dead in a drawer. With this frame, the capsule suddenly fits into any GoPro base, any tripod, selfie stick, suction cup, chest harness, whatever. And on top of that, it comes with the 1/4” thread adapter and the screw, so ready to use as soon as you take it out of the bag. The plastic is decent (it's not the official Insta360 cage, of course, but for ten euros nobody asks for wonders). It weighs practically nothing, it fits perfectly, it doesn't dance a millimeter and the best part: you can open the microSD cover without removing the camera from the frame. That's pure gold, because with the official one you have to take it out every two by three. For quiet things, the magnet is great, but when you ride a bike, run or do anything a little more gross, this gives you peace of mind that the magnet doesn't give you. The camera is fixed and fixed, there is no risk of it flying off the first pothole. The only thing that still bothers someone is that putting it on and taking it off takes ten seconds longer than the magnetic click, but come on, for that extra security I think it's a ridiculous change. As I said: for less than ten euros this is an absolute no-brainer. I always have it on when I go out to record something minimally moved. If you have a GO Ultra and you don't have one yet... you're taking too long. I think it's the best thing I've bought in a long time for the camera. 10/10, I would buy it a thousand times.
