It works the way it should! It works with tripod. No issues other than fitting the camera in the camera holder. Make sure you have it positioned correctly and it will go in easily.

Since I just bought a wonderful Insta360 Go Ultra, I took advantage of an interesting offer and I took this plastic frame to be able to use it without magnetic attachment and reuse the classic GoPro attachments present in numerous accessories. As you can see from the video, the frame is made entirely of excellent quality plastic and this allows you to keep the weight at very low levels. The set also comes with a GoPro attachment with 1/4" thread so that it can also be used with other accessories. I hope this review has been helpful to you.

I received this action camera mount earlier today and have already tested it out with my Go Ultra at home. Straight away, it feels well made, with a solid protective frame that clips onto the camera securely without wobble. Installation is quick and straightforward, and once fitted the buttons and memory card slot remain fully accessible which is a thoughtful design touch.The build quality stands out. It feels robust enough to offer protection against knocks, and the included 1/4-inch adapter gives flexibility for attaching to tripods or selfie sticks. This is a plastic frame for the standalone Ultra camera. It has a two-prong GoPro style mount and also comes with a 1/4-20 tripod screw adapter.The back is open and there's a cut-out for access to the microSD card as well as spaces for the tabs on a quick release bracket.There's no padding on the inside of the frame which I consider to be a serious omission.A GoPro style thumbscrew is encluded to secure the frame to a selfie-stick or other mount.This is a worthwhile addition to your Ultra kit as it makes using a wider variety of mounts possible.Jerry

I ordered this camera cage for my Go Ultra. It was really hard to find any of the proprietary mounting clips that the Go Ultra uses for the first few months after it came out. This is handy to skip the mounting plate and attach the camera in other tight spots without the big camera pod. I've been using it on a helmet mount and it hold the camera just fine. I am using a lanyard on the camera just in case it ever slips out, but so far I have not had any problems with it loosening at all. Perfect add-on my Go Ultra without paying the high prices that Insta360 charges for their official accessories.

The frame holds the smaller camera of the insta360 go ultra well. It secures onto my tripod and doesn’t get in the way of any of the functions. I didn’t need to use the included attachment screw, but it’s nice that it’s part of the set.

Snaps the tiny camera into a real 1/4" thread world — mounted it on my bike, chest strap, even the dog’s harness. Super light and doesn’t block the shutter or card slot. Game-changer for $15.
