Unlike standard light stands, the independently adjustable legs angles and light make is easy to set this up on uneven terrain with ease. Included hook on base of light stand is perfect for adding ballast to steady the stand in soft ground or windy days. Load bearing up to 11lbs. I've been using an 'ordinary' nightstand to make videos for social media, but I'll be using this stand from now on. One Suggestion K&F, add a small bubble level to the light stand base for even easier setup on uneven ground.

This tripod was exactly what I needed. It has great height, it’s lightweight, compact, and the legs are adjustable for terrain. Everything was smooth and locks into place.

How compact a light stand collapses is as important to me these days as how high it extends. Rising 21 inches to 8 1/2 feet, this K&F stand has me covered on both ends.
