Review for: "K&F Concept 3" Suction Cup Camera Mount with Magic Arm for Car, 1/4" ARRI Holes, Dual Ball head Magic Arm with Phone Holder and Action Cam Adapter Compatible with DJI Go Pro Hero 13 Insta360 X5 iPhone"Brand: K&F ConceptFirst look:The K&F Concept Camera Mount came in a box (15.2 cm 7.1 cm x 16.3 cm) with the User manual, Website paper, Suction cup, Magic arm, Phone holder, Action cam adapter, and Allen wrench.Information & Precautions:The phone mount can be mounted horizontally or vertically and the ball socket joints on the magic arm can go straight up or horizontally or anywhere in between. The suction cup needs to go onto a surface that is dry, clean, flat, smooth, and non-porous. It will not work on painted surfaces, marble, old tile, wallpaper, unpainted wood surfaces, rough glass, or other rough surfaces. The absorption status should be checked every 2 hours by checking that the warning line is not visible, and it is recommended to pressurize the air pump every 4 hours. When used on the outside of a vehicle, it should only be used with a safety rope, and the vehicle should stay below 80 km/hr. There is a safety rope hanging hole but the safety rope is not included. Don't use the suction cup with a selfie stick or extension pole. The applicable temperature is -20°C to 60°C.Operation:Put the suction cup firmly onto the surface, then press the suction valve repeatedly until the safety warning line disappears. Make sure the suction cup is fully attached to the object. If the safety warning line is exposed during use, press the suction valve until the safety warning line disappears again. To remove, first remove the equipment attached to it. Then press the release buttons on both sides of the suction cup at the same time to release the suction. When storing the suction cup, cover the protective cap to prevent damage to the bottom of the suction cup.Testing & Opinion:I ordered the suction cup camera mount for my kayak. The front of my kayak isn't exactly flat so it does lift off more easily than if it was a flat surface. However, it does free up my hands when paddling and makes my videos much better than having the camera attached to my life jacket. This is a neat mount for attaching cameras or phones to flat objects, and the suction cup works well and can be pumped to re-engage.

This 3-inch suction cup mount from K&F Concepts is a good solution for anyone needing to mount a smartphone or small camera. It is much more compact than other suction cup camera mounts and the perfect size for small action cameras. It's easy to toss into a bag, so you can mount your phone or action camera whenever you need to.The mount attaches securely to smooth non-porous materials and takes a bit of effort to detach, which is exactly what you want from a suction cup. It's great for attaching to a vehicle windshield, since its small size doesn't block much of your view. The included magic arm is very strong and made entirely of metal, allowing you to precisely position your camera. The kit also has a spring-loaded phone holder and a GoPro-style mount, so it should work with any small POV-style cameras.K&F makes consistently excellent products and this suction cup mount is no exception.

I am completely blown away by the stuff being made by K&F. The quality is always top, the prices are excellent and everything is packaged up so well.Lets say you have an action camera and you want to do some in-car vlogging. There's really nowhere to mount it to that gives a good perspective other than the windshield itself. This action mount has a nifty way of suctioning to the windshield that doesn't require you to lick the suction cup (eww) or moisten it and then try to peel it off. Rather, just press it against whatever smooth surface you'd like and then hit the pump button a few times. Air is immediately sucked out creating a vacuum and air-tight seal.Inside the extremely professional packaging, you'll also find a 1/4 to 1/4 adapter bracket so you can use this with larger format cameras, a GoPro mounting base and a cellphone adapter that can mount in vertical or horizontal mode. I tried various cameras and found it extremely stable. DX format camera with a 18-250 lens fully extended? No problem! (probably don't do this in a moving vehicle though)K&F has continued to make great products at prices that are EXTREMELY reasonable for what you're getting and this is one more to add to the collection of excellent-value products.
K&F delivers another fantastic product

Suction holds up really well. I love the pump and indicator- it’s something usually only found on higher end suction mounts. The included arm is well constructed and tightens pretty well. The multiple screw threads are great and allow for multiple mounting options. An area to attach a safety cable is super important and something that often gets over looked on cheaper suction mounts but is necessary for pro use- so nice to see it on here. Will definitely hold an action cam. I am tempted to get a couple more of these and rig up a mirrorless camera.Either way, this has worked great so far. I used it on a professional shoot without issue, unfortunately the subject matter was under an NDA so I can’t share the photos. I’ll try to get some more later and add them to the review.

Amazing suction cup and very well built was expecting a flimsy mount but I was pleasantly impressed and surprised, make sure you pump until you don’t see the white line

Amazing suction cup, the all metal conception is very sturdy. So good I have ordered 2 more. I use it for mounting gopros and microphones on my cars. Suction is powerful, I didn't have any issue so far, even on bumpy roads with potholes. There is almost no vibration, making the footages much more stable than any other suction cups I have tried. The base might even have a positive dampening effect. The magic arm is great, very easy to set it to the perfect angle.

... and accessories. First of all, I have already used several purchased products from K&F Concept and the company has not exactly cheap but good products. There is actually nothing wrong with the suction cup holder, the concept with the pump is great, the bracket is very firmly attached to a disc, I have never seen such holding force with a suction holder. The holder is very neatly designed, everything seems sturdy made of metal, of course except for the parts which, due to the design (such as the suction cup or the filter), must be made of other materials. Even a protective cap for the suction foot is included, unfortunately without a mounting lug, so that you cannot attach it to the holder when in use, I have removed this from the craft box with a small cable holder to stick on, see photo (currently picture 2). It was thought of several 1/4” mounting threads, you could attach more accessories here although I would have gone for the larger version, at least visually it does not look “balanced” depending on the accessories, of course. A cable security holder was thought of, which I did not immediately assign after looking at the instructions, this could be very tight for some safety ropes, attached is a photo with a “SIM needle” (currently picture 1). To the “magic arm” of a possible connection between holder and device which allows all possible and impossible angles, in the usual quality of the company, sturdy where possible made of metal, well made, on the device stabilizers with an anti-slip pad, great. The action cam mount is standard, made of plastic, with a 1/4" threaded metal socket, I think brass, you can't go wrong here, there is no dedicated “anti-slip pad”, the protection against slipping consists of a textured surface. The mobile phone holder is well made, has an “anti-slip pad” on the sides, the large contact surface on the back is unfortunately only roughened, there are 2 threaded metal bushings, again I think brass, one on the back and one on one of the front sides. There is something worked out on the opposite front side which is reminiscent of a standard flash mount, on which you can attach a lightweight microphone or a small light, for example, quite difficult for my microphone. But what really bothers me about the mount is that, for my taste, I could have invested a little more here and took a bracket with a clamping screw, the springs on the bracket run pretty smoothly for my taste and I would think about whether my cell phone would not slip out if there was a bump in the car. In addition, the mobile phone rotates back and forth slightly in the holder because it is not really stabilizing anywhere and holding on there, which is not exactly due to the weight distribution, heavy camera module at the top, bracket can only be attached in the lower third because otherwise, for example, the on/off switch is being pressed, just improved. By the way, I noticed this for the first time with this mobile phone holder, all other holders I have here run diagonally towards the back and therefore clamp firmly towards the back, picture attached, red from other manufacturers (currently picture 3). There is also an enclosed guide or notes, even with a German part which is even understandable in order and halfway, Spanish, for example, is not in order but is still on the same page of the instructions. Great for action cameras, which you might also want to use as a dash cam while on vacation, e.g. in a rental car. Also great when you're out and about, for example, for a smaller light, a microphone or an additional flash. In my opinion, other uses depend on the attachment, e.g. standing or hanging, and the equipment. With my old S20 Ultra, I don't exactly have a lightweight and small mobile phone, certainly, maybe the whole thing would be more stable with a smaller iPhone, for example, everyone has to decide for themselves. If you want to use it with larger equipment, possibly with microphone and light, I would personally go for the larger version next time (actually sound 76mm in size and don't look small on the ruler), even if the weight still fits, there are definitely higher safety reserves and especially when filming in a vehicle, for example, you have to inflate the inertia and the resulting weight load, e.g. With bumps in the ground, gravity says hello, pay attention. Picture below where you may be able to assign the size even if the angle is a bit unfavorable (currently picture 4). I would have liked to deduct only half a point due to the certainly really small things that bother me, but unfortunately this is not possible.

The slightly smaller version of the suction cup is ideal for attaching equipment such as action cameras, smartphones, lamps or monitors to smooth surfaces. This enables unusual perspectives when filming and ensures calm images, for example when driving a car. Adapters for smartphones and action cameras are conveniently included. A small magic arm is also included to adjust the position. For me, this creates a great package that doesn't lack anything and is immediately ready for use. The suction cup itself is super easy to use. Put on and press the orange pump until the white mark is no longer visible. The vacuum then reliably keeps the equipment on the windshield. There are several 1/4 inch threads on the suction cup for the Magic Arm or other accessories. This allows it to be used flexibly. I would not attach heavier equipment such as system cameras to the suction cup (K&F also has larger suction cups for this). But I attach my smartphone and action camera with them without hesitation and have not had a crash or anything like that yet.

Although the electric suction cup mounts are quite effective at what they do, they are electric so they can inherently be more noisy when the pressure starts to loosen up. Meanwhile most of the normal suction cups tend to just let go without prior indication, this one gives you the peace of mind of not only when the suction is strong enough when setting up, but also when it starts to be loosen. The first time using this I had trouble getting the suction to work properly. After pfaffing around for a little it finally started working and oh boy does it work well. It works so well that you can still get some decent results on painted gyprock. At the base the strength it can hold up is indeed impressive, though with more of an arm extended away from your mounting surface it will cause the suction to be less strong. In which case, staying with very light weight equipment is best--if you had to use heavier gear like a smaller mirrorless camera, either the mounting surface should be horizontal, or you should keep the magic arm very close to the mounting surface. The magic arms themselves do work pretty well but it also can struggle with heavier loads, so in terms of how heavy it can hold will be in a similar recommendation as the suction mounting itself.Unsticking the suction cup once it is properly placed, thanks to the visual indicator, is a little difficult still. Good thing the little protruding bit on the suction cup does a good job at helping you break the seal.Overall though, this is a pretty impressive kit if you are looking for something of a manual suction cup accessory with a manual pump for added security. Thanks to the mounting holes you can also change what and how you mount things to it, as well as using multiples to attach larger gear. For how well it is made and how effective it is, this is a pretty well priced model that can very easily be recommended.

What a brilliant piece. A 3" suction cup with which I can attach action cameras, for example. It comes with a small Magic Arm, which is also very well made. You always have the feeling that the equipment is safe. There is also a standard adapter for action cameras and one for mobile phones. But what this small suction cup is particularly valuable for me is not the reason that I can attach action cameras or the like there. For me, the product is also extremely suitable for attaching small tubes or panels to places where I normally cannot work with either a large or a small light stand. For example, I can simply attach a light shaper to a door leaf or to a wall unit. It is also very handy. Overall, I have to say that I really like the product and will definitely use it often.
