The K&F Concept MS-48 Magic Arm makes a very solid impression and is ideal for smaller devices such as smartphones, action cams or compact cameras. Thanks to the two ball heads, the position can be adjusted very flexibly, and the central locking screw allows you to quickly fix the arm. This is very practical for video productions with a mobile phone or light equipment, as you can change the viewing angle in seconds. In my test, the arm held an iPhone and a small system camera stable without any problems. It works reliably even with lightweight LED lights or microphones. However, it is not designed for a larger and heavier SLR camera such as the Nikon D7200 — the weight is too heavy here so that the clamp does not hold enough. The workmanship is good overall: metal parts look sturdy, the screws grip cleanly and can be operated without effort. The 1/4" screw can also be used universally and fits many common devices and accessories. Conclusion: A practical little helper for anyone who wants to flexibly position accessories such as smartphones, lightweight cameras or LED lights. Robust, easy to adjust and reliable — as long as you stay within the intended weight range. Pros & Cons: ✔️ Flexible thanks to 360° ball heads ✔️ Keeps smartphones and small cameras securely ✔️ Good workmanship and sturdy screws ✔️ Universal 1/4" screw ❌ Not suitable for heavy SLR cameras

I now use the Magic Arm regularly on my rig and am really pleasantly surprised. The workmanship looks very high-quality — the metal is sturdy, nothing wobbles and the screws grip reliably. I particularly like the fact that the ball heads can be aligned really freely and precisely, so that I can quickly put accessories such as a small light or monitor in the perfect position. Despite its compact size, the arm carries a decent amount of weight and holds the adjustment reliably without yielding.

The advertised characteristics of the double ball head are explained in the detailed product description and clearly illustrated, are confirmed by me and do not require any further addition on my part. Material and manufacturing quality are at a suitable level. The clamping force of the clamping jaws is pleasantly high and resilient. Additional 1/4" threaded holes on the clamping jaws make the double ball head even more flexible in use. The required market price of currently just under 17 euros appears to me to be just acceptable for the total service offered and can be justified in individual cases by the utility value.

I have all manner of photographic gear, from small compact digital cameras, action-cams, DJI Pocket & Pocket 3, small LED lighting units — and so a Magic Arm like the K&F CONCEPT one is a 'no-brainer' required accessory. I have seen plastic ones retail for prices approaching this one but the K&F CONCEPT is an all-metal alloy construction and definitely built to last. The Magic Arm arrives in a very small branded box. When you take the product out of the box it feels like top quality and is extremely nicely finished. For some reason I love the bright orange adjustment knob... very funky and very cool! The adjustment knob is a good size that allows for easy tightening (it's a highly important part of the functionality with a product like this).I couldn't see any plastic parts in the construction and the magic arm oozed quality, clearly being very strong considering its small size. I will not go into all the possible connectivity options as it could take quite a while but I will say that at each end there's a ball head fitted with 1/4" standard camera/tripod screw. There are also two side-mounted 1/4" screw holes that further add to the attachment possibilities. For my review I used a small, but heavy, high quality digital camera. I thought that this would quickly identify and establish the strength, flexibility and design of the K&F Magic Arm. As you can see in my photos the magic arm performed flawlessly. You can literally swivel the accessory in 360° and at any angle then the merest tightening of the adjustment knob locks everything in place at precisely the angle you require. Super-quick and super-easy.I like that this Magic Arm isn't too large (or heavy) as it's perfectly functional without taking up too much space and I can see me popping it into my camera bag when out and about. It's such a handy and practical accessory to have.

Materials & build quality are great. Very solid little unit. Smooth to touch. The dial requires minimal turning to tighten or loosen in order to articulate the joints. Both ends have padded surfaces to protect attached devices and provide grip. Easy to articulate angle and rotate freely when joints are loosened. Not that it matters, but in addition to the materials being very solid and the finish feeling nice - the unit also just looks really nice. Between the colors and materials - and the design. It's quite small too, so it's not a hassle to pack it into a travel kit. My only complaint is that when you loosen the lever, both joints become loose and articulate. You can't just loosen one end to articulate them individually. Not a huge problem, but the one minor design flaw that could have been better from my perspective.Likes:- Solid quality materials.- The finish feels nice.- Nice looking finish and colors.- Compact design.- Easy to loosen or tighten lever in order to articulate the joints freely or lock them in position.Dislikes:- Loosening the dial makes both joints loose, so you can't really just loosen one at a time to articulate individually.

The ball joints are slightly corrugated, which ensures that everything stays in place. My Sony ZV-E10 with a 9 cm outstanding Sigma 16mm lens also holds completely vertically without any problems. I don't find the two thread slots on the bottom (i.e. opposite the orange locking screw) optimally positioned, but at least they exist at all. Overall, excellent workmanship (all made of aluminum), yet lightweight, and I am very grateful for the light rubber coating on the “plates”, as nothing scratches. I also own a few other Magic Arms (mostly from Neewer and SmallRig) but I like this one the best of them all. Especially because the plates can be tightened to the thread regardless of the ball joint and you can thus unscrew things again without releasing the entire joint from its position.

First impression, very stable. I have to say it makes a reliable impression on me. You can adjust both sides very specifically and then tighten them correctly. The small lever makes it easy to build up pressure on the ball heads. Thanks to their slight grooves, nothing slides back or forth. The threads are neatly worked. The screws on the ball heads have rubber with a pattern so that the equipment also fits well. Everything looks high-quality on the surfaces. I can really recommend it and look forward to using the good part intensively in the future.

The part is really super solid, I guess something like aluminum to stainless steel. Everything is perfectly processed, as you shouldn't expect otherwise from K & F, an FA that I know more from the area of filter attachments so far. The gap dimensions are absolutely right, the camera threads can also be screwed against the plastic plates — and thus secured twice!
