Lightweight but solid aluminum. Looks nice. My only negative is that one clamp controls both ball ends, so it can be hard to get them both aligned and locked down where you want them with just the one lever/clamp. It would be better if each side had its own independent lever/clamp. Other that that it is nice.

One of my most used/favorite accessories. I know the double male ends is strange for most, it was perfect for my application. It's built very well, mostly metal. While the adjustment know initially seemed disproportionately large, I found that functionally, it's a much appreciated designed.Superb value and excellent for my use case!

I’ve used a K&F Tripod for years, and I’ve really put it through the wringer. Recently I’ve been needing more versatility, and I needed to rig up more lights and mount my camera at unique perspectives.So I went to K&F. There are a lot of ball arms out there, but this one is really well made. It’s sturdy and tough, all metal, and the tightening knob is made in a way that it’s easy to tighten the clamp right up.The balls are grooved but smooth enough to make the arm easy to adjust but also stay in place easily. The extra threaded holes on the back side are very convenient as well.

I really like nearly all K&F products. For this small magic arm setup I really like the shape and size of the screw for it. I have another by a brand I really like also, but by far if I only need one I am grabbing this only due to the screw. They both hold well, but the longer side on the screw makes it real quick and easy to adjust. The other has the typically knob that is the same size on both ends, but this being longer makes it easy to get some extra force quickly with minimal effort to loosen and tighten.

This is well-built, and the ball joints hold weight excellently. The 1/4-20 mounts do have a rubber grip to them, which helps hold your gear in place. At $13, it's not very expensive, and is very useful if you need to attach another piece of gear to your rig.The one caveat is that this has no locator pins, so be mindful of where weight is positioned. If you have too much on the "loosen" side, the screw will loosen and your rig will fall over. If you're not loading it down with too much weight, though, it should be fine. It couldn't take my field monitor off to the side, but my field recorder was supported with no issues in any orientation.

I'm a little weary using these magic arms with the dual ball heads that use a rubber ring for staying in position. Most of my other magic arms use metal on metal connections and those usually work well but this seems to be a newer design that I hope is more reliable reducing vibrations and leading to less wear and tear on the metal parts. I haven't fully tested this K&F Concept Magic Arm to its limits but they make great products so I'm sure it will meet my needs.K&F always delivers quality when it comes to hardware and this is no different. It's made with solid materials and the finish is excellent.
