Works exactly as described. Perfect for mounting extras on a tripod leg or clamped on the edge of the desk to mount a camera or audio recorder. Great addition to any field kit. High quality materials and construction. The friction joints have very fine teeth, so it can be adjusted to almost any angle. Very satisfied, would recommend to anyone who works with tripods, light stands, cameras, or other production gear.

Very sturdy for being so lightweight and easy to manipulate into whatever position you could need. Holds strong, even in a moving car.
