This thing is AWESOME! I didn't know I need it so badly!!! I got it because I needed a new ball mount to use with my phone and found out that it holds my Canon R50 with ease. I've even mounted an extension that's about 8" long onto this mount, turned it 90 degrees pointing straigh up in the aire, with the magnetic plate on a vertical surface of desk mount for a computer monitor, holding the camera so that it directly above the desk for a bird's eye shot.It unscrews from the magnetic base, so you can post stuff on your fridge, and mount the ball on a tripod or other 1/4-20 threaded apparatus, the mounting surface converts from a threaded baseplate to a cell phone holder just by pushing it a few inches. I'm thrilled with how much the ball mount can take. It's easier to move the computer monitor's swivel head that was tightened with a wrench than the ball mount. I've also inverted it and it's perfectly stable. I have not tried driving with it on the outside of the car, yet, but that may be the next adventure.
Sturdy. Reliable.

This K&F Concept Magnetic Camera Mount is made well and very functional. The magnet base hold very strong to any metal surface and the rubber coating keeps it for scratching the surface also. I has different camera mounting options for phones or action cameras. The swivel ball heads locks tight in any position and keeps your camera secure. For the quality and money, I recommend it.

I slapped this on my car's hood to shoot some off-road footage, and it held tight - surprisingly sturdy for its size. The 360 ball head is a breeze to adjust, though the phone mount's design feels a tad awkward when switching orientations. Works great for my action cam, and I appreciate the included accessories for versatility.

This is a great magnetic mount for your phone or action camera. The magnets are strong but not like super strong. I’ll update this post after I test mounting it to the hood of my truck. Based on what I can feel, I think around town speeds should be safe, but again, I’ll update this section soon. The base has a nice not scratching protective finish. And the ball head is easy to adjust but secures down very confidently.I LOVE the oversized turn wheel for the 1/4 20 mount. It makes it easy to get a camera or light off or on. The ease to secure objects is amazing. It’s great that this doubles as a phone stand as well. It took me a moment to figure out how it opens. It has to slide further than I realized before you can lift it up. Expands wide enough to hold any modern phone + case in landscape orientation. This is an all around great mount for small cameras, webcams, lights, phones, etc.I highly recommended this product and love that I was able to get my hands on it. I’ve had the opportunity to receive several products from K&F Concept and I have never been disappointed. High quality products at good prices.

This is a cleverly designed ball head for mounting a camera to a metal surface. The base is a rubberized magnet that has a good amount of force and doesn't feel it would come off easily, and it is also wide which helps prevent movement. The ball head tightens up well and doesn't have any play. The top has a standard 1/4-20 mounting screw that is found on most cameras, and it comes with a mount for GoPro type cameras if you should choose to use it. The photos I've included are intended to show that the base has the ability to slide out and become slightly longer for bigger items. It also flips up and has a spring-loaded arm to hold phones. It will hold a very large phone but it is not wide enough to hold an iPad mini or anything of that size. There is also an additional threaded hole on the base to add additional accessories if you want. What I like:-Very clever design, allows standard 1/4-20 mount cameras, GoPros, and phones all in one-Well machined, tight ball head-Strong, wide magnet, does not feel like it would come off easilySo-So:-If using it in a fixed location, it will hold even medium or larger cameras pretty well, but if using it on the outside of a moving vehicle, I would only use smaller cameras, action cameras, or a phoneBad:-Nothing really. It does what it is designed to do very well and seems like it was built to last forever.

This is a really sturdy magnetic mount. It has a slightly larger design than some of the others I've used in the past. I've been filming on this with a Sony A7C and Canon R8 and it handles both easily - even with larger adapted EF lenses on the Canon. Also, the other thing that's cool about this is it has a built-in phone mount. Likewise, if you're just using this for action cameras, it'll handle them with no problem. As someone who's used a lot of these kinds of mounts, I can verify that this is one of the more sturdier ones around. Highly recommended.

Wanted a way to slap a GoPro on a vehicle; this mount does the trick. The magnet is definitely strong enough to support the weight of a GoPro 9 and its cage, but removes easily enough thanks to the rubber cover on the magnetic section. As with all the K&F equipment I have, all of the materials and finishes feel really nice and are typically long lasting. There is one weird design choice, though not one that will impact me as I don't plan on using this for my phone anytime soon. To use the phone holder, one slides the holder section to the side until it flips upright, which would hold the phone perpendicular to the magnet surface in portrait orientation. There is a way to rotate the ball head to place the phone parallel to the surface, but it's awkward. You'd think you'd just be able to put the phone on and have the magnet centered behind the phone, not offset. Again, not an issue so much as just a weird design decision.

Overall, I’m pretty happy with it—especially for quick, static shots. The magnets hold really well on flat, thick steel surfaces, but they’re noticeably weaker on thinner or curved metal (like car panels), as any magnet would be. I’d definitely limit rough movements and high wind exposure, although I’ve gotten satisfactory shots in some situations. It’s super versatile for use with lighter cameras like action cams or phones. The ¼"-20 thread is standard, so most gear fits fine. It comes with a phone clamp and an action cam mount, which is a nice bonus. The base is coated in a rubbery material that feels soft and seems to help prevent surface scratches. That said, I do wish the base were larger and had slightly stronger magnets. The ball head is much better than another brand I have—it adjusts smoothly and stays put once tightened, which is great. However, the short post under the ball head makes it a bit awkward to fully tighten if you're using bulky gear. Also, the phone clamp is a tight fit if your phone has a case, and since it’s fixed, you can’t swap it out easily.Overall, it’s compact, portable, and works well for static setups. I think it's a solid value for casual creators or hobbyists looking for something simple and adaptable. Just be sure to test your mounting surface before trusting it with your gear.Four stars from me.

I am pleasantly surprised by this creative combination. The ball head works well enough to support small mirrorless cameras, action cameras, and cell phones. I like that it's built in to the mount. Just pull on one side, and you have something that will easily hold onto most modern cell phones - Brilliant! The only negative I can see is that the transforming capability increases the size of the whole thing.I haven't tried the magnetic mount just yet, but I trust it is strong enough to use for small cameras. And, can you believe its only $20?

This is a unique magnetic head that has a ball swivel for adjustability, and a flip up phone holder, and even includes an action cam mount. Really a great deal all in all. There’s no instructions but you flip up the phone mount to use it. It’s very loose on its own but add your phone and it stabilizes it. Overall a good mount that has a 1/4 screw so you can mount really whatever you want.
