I don't know where to start to sing the praises of this tripod. First of all, this is not a travel tripod, it is heavy, well built and quite large. I'm new to photography and videography, and my niche is wildlife with a large lens. I have another fluid-head tripod from a different popular brand, but I have to say this K&F is leaps and bounds ahead of it. Here are some bullet points:
- It is heavy and incredibly well-built. Wind doesn't affect this bad boy.
- Travel bag is perfect and makes it easy to transport.
- Fluid head is unlike anything I'm used to. It is amazingly smooth, easy to manipulate, and makes video smooth even at 400+MM.
I absolutely love this tripod. It is the definition of well-built, but don't expect to take this bad boy on backcountry hikes.

This is a large and heavy tripod. It is easy to use and very stable. Having spent 40+ years as a photographer I have used countless tripods and in fact have 4 or 5 that I still use. We use different ones based on the needs of the shoot. This fills a spot for very stable video shooting. I was pretty surprised at the quality given the price. I thought it would be more expensive than it is.

The heavy-duty fluid head tripod is an outstanding addition to my videography gear. This tripod is built like a tank, with robust construction that provides exceptional stability, even with my heaviest camera setup (20+ lbs). The fluid head offers incredibly smooth panning and tilting, making it perfect for both photography and videography. Adjustments are precise and easy to make, thanks to the intuitive controls. The tripod legs are sturdy and adjustable to various heights, ensuring I can get the perfect angle for any shot. Whether I'm working in the studio or out in the field, this tripod has become an indispensable tool. Highly recommended for any serious photographer or videographer looking for a reliable and versatile tripod!

This is a tripod geared primarily for video production. The dampening knobs turn smoothly and the fluid head is also very smooth and compatible with Manfrotto plates. The fluid head is on a standard 75mm bowl base that is compatible with other brands of 75mm half balls, if you wish you could remove the fluid head and replace it with a standard ballhead or gearhhead. I feel the stance of this tripod is a bit too narrow, wish that the leg spreader can be adjusted to allow for a wider, more stable stance. Other than that, this is a very nice video tripod for a reasonable cost.

Incredible value for money. Looks and feels like a much more expensive tripod. It doesn’t have any flashy features, it just works. Excellent value for money.

Excellent tripod for the price!

I bought it as a second tripod for my Canon C80 B-series camera, in addition to my Sachtler FlowTech Aktiv 6. So, I'm quite spoiled when it comes to tripods – my Sachtler is about 15 times more expensive. Of course, the Sachtler is better, no question, but the K&F VA3 + BV20 does an excellent job! The build quality is solid, the fluid head is really smooth – something you don't usually find in this price range. Compared to SmallRig tripods in the same category, the K&F feels much more premium and better made.

If I had to find two things to criticize, it would be the stepless adjustment of the resistance – I prefer fixed steps – and metal eyelets instead of plastic on the carrying strap of the bag. However, these are minor complaints at this price point.

10/10 would recommend!

Our lightweight tripod wasn't sufficient for our relatively heavy video camera. I also wanted a video tripod head, and this one offered an affordable alternative to professional tripods. The tripod arrived just in time for an event I was filming. I was pleasantly surprised by the high-quality construction. The matching, sturdy carrying case is a real bonus! I can definitely recommend this tripod.
