K&F rarely disappoints me, and this is no exception. This is a professional-quality video tripod and head. The fluidity is great, and it's easy to balance. This thing goes high in the air and is very, very sturdy. I couldn't be happier.

This tripod is TALL! 75" puts the bottom of your camera above your head, so you may need a remote monitor (or step stool) to make use of it at the full height. Even folded the entire package is close to 40" long. Each leg has two extensions, and with only one extended the tripod is of a "normal" height. I personally don't anticipate using the 2nd set of leg extensions too frequently, but in certain situations it would be useful to have the extra height. With the size and generous 22lb / 10kg load capacity, comes weight. The total package with padded carrying case is around 13 lbs, and the tripod alone is at least 11. The weight is not excessive for the size, but this is not a small and lightweight travel tripod. One feature I like is that the leveling ball mount has a large vertical handle. You can twist it to loosen the ball for leveling purposes, but it also makes a very easy handle to lift and carry the tripod with camera attached. The fluid head allows you to mount the extending handle for either left or right handed use. Both the pan and tilt axis can lock, and have an adjustable amount of friction. I tried it out with an extreme zoom lens and was able to pan/tilt the lens smoothly and was perfectly happy with the smoothness of the head. It has a QR plate that comes with both 1/4 and 3/8" mounting studs, tightened up with an always available Allan wrench that magnetically mounts inside the top of the fluid head. You can also switch over to accepting DJI RS2/RS3 and Manfrotto fast plates. The fluid head can be removed from the ball leveler (3/8" threaded stud) if you wish to use the tripod alone (or the Fluid head on a different tripod). The price feels right for what you get. It's not carbon fiber, but that is about the only improvement I could see making to the tripod. The aluminum tubes are sturdy and solid, so replacing them with carbon fiber tubes may not improve performance much (and cutting down on the weight may also reduce the stability).

I don't know where to start to sing the praises of this tripod. First of all, this is not a travel tripod, it is heavy, well built and quite large. I'm new to photography and videography, and my niche is wildlife with a large lens. I have another fluid-head tripod from a different popular brand, but I have to say this K&F is leaps and bounds ahead of it. Here are some bullet points:- It is heavy and incredibly well-built. Wind doesn't affect this bad boy.- Travel bag is perfect and makes it easy to transport.- Fluid head is unlike anything I'm used to. It is amazingly smooth, easy to manipulate, and makes video smooth even at 400+MM.I absolutely love this tripod. It is the definition of well-built, but don't expect to take this bad boy on backcountry hikes.

The heavy-duty fluid head tripod is an outstanding addition to my videography gear. This tripod is built like a tank, with robust construction that provides exceptional stability, even with my heaviest camera setup (20+ lbs). The fluid head offers incredibly smooth panning and tilting, making it perfect for both photography and videography. Adjustments are precise and easy to make, thanks to the intuitive controls. The tripod legs are sturdy and adjustable to various heights, ensuring I can get the perfect angle for any shot. Whether I'm working in the studio or out in the field, this tripod has become an indispensable tool. Highly recommended for any serious photographer or videographer looking for a reliable and versatile tripod!

This is a tripod geared primarily for video production. The dampening knobs turn smoothly and the fluid head is also very smooth and compatible with Manfrotto plates. The fluid head is on a standard 75mm bowl base that is compatible with other brands of 75mm half balls, if you wish you could remove the fluid head and replace it with a standard ballhead or gearhhead. I feel the stance of this tripod is a bit too narrow, wish that the leg spreader can be adjusted to allow for a wider, more stable stance. Other than that, this is a very nice video tripod for a reasonable cost.

The stand is really great. It is very stable and the head can be moved very smoothly — nothing sticks or jerks. Only the bag is made of a somewhat peculiar and not very confidence-inspiring material. I had it next to a Manfrotto and found out that both were of equal value. The Manfrotto has foldable rubber feet, but cost €470, — more. I can fully recommend the stand.

Great value for money There is no tripod at this price that has horizontal friction adjustment, not even other more expensive ones for video and small cameras it works very well, I have a video production company for more than 30 years

Great foot: heavy, stable, sturdy Very well designed and made. A lot of plastic parts, but nothing that seems to undermine the overall impression of robustness. Perfect for video. A bit heavy for photography. Excellent quality/price ratio.

I hesitated for a long time... I believe that there is nothing more difficult to choose than a video tripod. This return obviously does not concern those who have the budget for 2500€ tripods, but to those for whom it will be their first “serious” tripod and who finally want to get a taste of the much desired “fluid head”, without ever having been able to really know what it was, I am thinking mainly of those who were trying to make videos with their photo tripod (like me) and who had quickly perceived the limits... I was a bit worried, because when you read the feedback from those who have fluid heads that cost 5x the price of this tripod, you tell yourself that this K&F looks good on paper, that the technical data sheet is attractive but that it is impossible to get what you pay for and that you will be disappointed, that it is only a well-dressed consumer product and, of course, how can you not think so when you measure price difference for products that seem to be built the same in every way? We tell ourselves that there is a wolf and that it is illusory to hope for a successful product with the correct performances for this ridiculous price compared to the semi-pro system, not to mention the pros. But I was the first to be surprised... Not at all! It's really fluid and easily configurable. You find the controls very intuitively, you don't even need to look at the instructions (which I'm going to do anyway!) With a caged Canon R5 and a 70/200mm, it's really smooth, without sudden stops, without tremors. Adjusting the level using the bowl is efficient and quick. Those who do not know this pleasure will be won over, it is life-changing. Since you can put the plate of a DJI RS2/3 on it, you no longer have to worry about taking it apart to go from one to the other. The construction inspires confidence, it's not crazy, it remains to be seen how it will last over time. It is only this point that leaves me doubtful. A negative point: You have to have a fairly heavy setup, because otherwise, with medium hardness settings, the foot moves with the movement you want to print on your head, you then tell yourself that you are going to attach a bag to the central reinforcement to weigh down the base and lower the center of gravity, as you usually do in photos, as you usually do in photos, but here, there is no hook, you can only put a bag on it and I I don't think it's a good idea. This problem only occurs when the tripod is in its lowest position, because the distance between the legs is kept to a minimum; in the intermediate position, the distance between the feet becomes sufficient to cancel this problem out. We'll see in the long run and I hope I don't have to come back here to say that it's broken or that something doesn't work anymore, but if it works like that for 2 or three years without flailing and keeping all of its original qualities, then for the price, I think it's a real banger.
