Nice microscope. Lose a star since the assembly was incorrect. In the battery compartment the contacts for the battery was installed in reverse. There was a spring for the battery negative in line with a spring for the battery negative instead of the positive plate. I just plucked the whole spring plus plate contacts out turned it end for end and then all the batteries would actually go where they belong. Pretty minor but if you‘re not mechanical it would be a big issue.

This felt a little light compared to what I remember from college. However, it works fine and my picky son didn‘t complain!

I bought this to see what is attacking my fruit tree leaves. The only thing wrong with this item for my need is the light. It is very weak for seeing through a leaf. Perhaps most people would be putting very thin or watery substances on slides and for that purpose I‘m sure it's perfect. I wish they'd provide a light source of adjustable brightness, but perhaps they're worried people may hurt their eyes.

Would have been nice if the stage lowered more.USB power option is a plus.

Great product but does not come with ANY instructions (I guess they are sold separately for a cost....this is why I gave it 4 instead of 5 stars.

So far granddaughter is loving this microscope because it’s legit and not a toy!

I am a beginner still learning how to use a microscope but so far this has met all my expectations. I use it predomantly for fish and have looked at things like diseases and scales. Great microscope

I needed it for my anatomy class, and it worked better than everyone’s in class! I would recommend this one!
